Letâs start with the serviceâitâs absolutely top-notch. The staff is so attentive, friendly, and genuinely cares about making your dining experience unforgettable. Whether itâs your first visit or your hundredth, they treat you like family. And can we talk about the drink refills? Theyâre on it! Your glass never stays empty for long, whether youâre sipping on a refreshing horchata or just a classic soda. Itâs the little things like this that make dining here such a pleasure.
Now, the foodâoh my goodness, where do I even begin? Every dish is bursting with flavor and made with so much care. The tacos? Perfection. The enchiladas? Heavenly. The guacamole?    Read moreMy disappointment is as immeasurable as I expected this to be quite good due to the great reviews and the fact that it is the south west. Instead I found it not lackluster but meh. MEH is the appropriate way to describe it not bad but not standout which is disappointing as I have had better luck and better mexican food in rural Virginia then I have in Utah or texas or nevada. Where to start. Salt is from salt packets and not shakers, Chips are 50 cents per refill which I get keep people from just eating chips but they are made in big batches and sit and get cold and stale. No queso. The horchata had to just a dash too much nutmeg. I like the smell of grandma's house I dont want to taste it in my horchata, other than that the horchata was great. The tamale was good but nothing standing out I hate to say it but I've had a better tamale from a truck stop. The fried quesadillas can use more cheese although that could have been on me for ordering chicken instead of the cheese one. The stand out dish was the tongue tacos. Perfectly done. The margarita was ok too 6 dollars with a 2 dollar up charge for patron is great until I ordered a plain shot of patron and it was 7 dollars and was watered down. Makes me now wonder how much patron was actually in the margarita. I cant complain about the drinks too much because they did their job. All and all a good dinner but nothing stands out too much. Would deffently eat here again but if your looking for a superb experience keep in mind it's kinda plain and down to earth which isnt a bad thing but given the reviews and being in the south west...
Read moreThe food was about as good as you'd expect for a chain. I went with some friends for one of their birthdays and we asked them about 3 times if they do anything for birthdays. Each time they would say they'd find out for us but never actually got back to us. We waited about 10-20 minutes once we were done with our meal to get a to go box and our waiter had stopped by 3 times to check in on us. Each time we had to remind him we were waiting on the check and a box. We had let the birthday thing go as they didn't seem to care only for them to bring out some little pastries right before we were leaving and just tossed them at our table and said "enjoy". I'd understand it more if they just told us no, they don't do anything for birthdays. Instead of making us wait until the very end and not giving us an answer. The place was pretty empty by the time we finished up and our waiter kept helping other tables and cleaning up around us each time after he checked in on us when we were done so we were made to wait. Overall not a great experience and you can get the same quality of food elsewhere. Also kind of pricy...
