I’ve been here several times now and it’s definitely my favorite place for pizza. The pizza is easily some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The crust is phenomenal; the hot honey pepperoni pie is incredible, and the salads are fresh. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. They also have a decent selection of craft beers and wine and then staff is lovely. My ONLY complaint is the prices. I fully expect to pay more for this level of quality, but the prices are just high enough to make me feel a good bit of regret afterwards. The salads are a nice sized portion, but they are just under $15. The pizzas are 8-10 inches, so enough for one hungry adult or two kiddos so we usually end up ordering three pizzas for our family of four, and at $12 to $18 per 8 inch pie, it adds up quickly. The bottled sodas are $7 each! 😭 The last time we went, our ticket had two 10 oz pours, three pizzas, two sodas, and one Caesar salad and we spent $81 dollars with tip, which feels like a lot, for me anyway. Again, the food is absolutely fantastic, the service is great, and I love supporting a great local business. I will likely continue to patronize this place because the food is just that good! Now that I think of it, good on them for making a product so good that you’ll leave with empty pockets but keep coming back for more!...
Read moreTHE BEST PIZZA IVE EVER HAD. I went for the first time for lunch on a Friday, and the restaurant had several customers already seated, which was good, i could see what the food looked like before i ordered. The pizza was amazing. I got the capriccio pizza. I had planned to only eat half and take the rest back for a later meal. However, it was soo freaking good. i devoured the whole thing. I wanted to order another pizza to eat. However, i had to go back to work. I went later that day for dinner (yes, it was that good that i came back on the same day) and had the porchetta sandwich because my buddy was having foodgasms during lunch. There are other restraunts in san angelo that have this similar theme for a pizza joint. However, the difference is that the pizza here is top notch, and all the pizza everywhere else kind of sucks. I've had artisan pizza in New York, California, and other states throughout the united states, ive had pizza in Japan and South Korea no where else can compare. As long as they stay consistent with their food, they will NEVER go out...
Read moreThe pizza here is really good! I highly recommend the sticky pig, the spicy honey really tied the flavors of the prosciutto and arugula together. My kids loved the cheesy garlic bread too. One of our pizzas was burnt pretty badly on one corner (crust was black and disintegrating), but still overall very solid pizza.
The inside of the establishment is kind of small and the table we sat at still had crumbs on the chairs when we sat down. We also had a strange experience with their "drink policy". They only offered beer, bottled soda, and bottled water, which wasn't a huge deal. However, when I went to grab my family's water bottles from the car after we ordered, a staff member informed us that outside drinks weren't allowed, even water. This felt a bit unreasonable for West Texas, especially for a family with young kids. We ended up not causing a scene and taking the water back to the car. While the pizza was really good, I'd probably recommend just ordering takeout...
