We are from out of town. "We picked the right spot," my husband says. I 100% agree. For breakfast, he got menudo (all you can eat), and I got chorizo & egg burrito with cheese, and a side of salsa. The food was delicious. Service from Casey was top notch. We were both happy after this meal- not an easy feat. Well done La Esperanza! Can't wait to try dinner here! Update: next day... We're back for lunch. Misty, our server, is wonderful. The place is busy on Sunday morning at 11:30 and our food arrived within 5 minutes. It's hot, delicious, and excellent value!! The dinner plates pictured are Camarones de Mexicana, and Taquitos Asada.

Great food, great service. As soon as we were seated we were served chips and salsa. The salsa.is really good, it is on the my older in heat and served chilled. The chips were home fried and crunchy. The food came out within 10 minutes of us ordering and it was a full house . The food was good, flavorful and hot. The french fries are so good. The are kind of shoestring in size but have a yummy spice on them. It was a really good experience. The restrooms were clean and fragrant. The parking was plentiful behind the restaurant. Great service.

Visiting from San Antonio we were looking for a good cozy spot, and we found it. The food was Amazing, friendly service full of humor, as soon as we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. Food was hot, tea was fresh, chips and salsa were good. Restrooms were clean as well. Couldn't ask for any better!!

The food I received was not the food I expected. The enchilada sauce is extremely salty and looks like chili from a can. The beef is incredibly greasy and they use a great deal of onion in everything(except the beans) they make. I am not sure if they even make alternatives in the event someone happens to be allergic to onions. The restaurant is clean. There was no wait when I arrived at just after 5pm. But space felt limited. Anyone unlucky enough to have to be seated in the back area may feel secluded.. And depending on staff, feel ignored. The seating is not comfortable at all. Anyone with hemorrhoids may wanna think twice. The staff is the only reason this review gets 4 stars instead of 3. They are very friendly and festive(wore Christmas themed clothing). They were especially patient with my autistic child. That to...

Just a fair warning, if you decide on dining here, be sure to check your ticket when you pay!!! Cause you may end up paying someone else's ticket. And!! They like to charge you for items you requested additionally to your order regardless if you receive said additional item/s or not. And their credit card system doesn't automatically update, so they try to accuse you of not paying even after showing them proof that you did. I think it was also the cashiers' fault as well since she really had no clue on how to separate an order after being instructed "by the customer" on what needed to be charged on their ticket. It would be to her benefit to get more "proper" training or even better, hiring someone else who is competent enough to run their register. Best bet would be to pay cash and get...
