Happy Eating All! If you want to get out today and try some fantastic family traditional cooking, try Acu'. We were not a disappointed this evening grazing our way through their fantastic menu. Bacon wrapped stuffed dates - these should be outlawed or atleast not shared with others as you will want to horde them all to yourself. The watermelon salad and roasted peaches and burrito were fantastic. The fire roasted octopus was out of this world. Watching them cook it in the big pizza oven and then coming out sizzling was magnificent. You have to try the hand made pitas toasted in the wood oven. Then finished it off with a wonderful white chocolate bread pudding with a fig sauce. Even better was the family service. Thanks Karlo and family for a great experience, we will return for more.

What a cool new little place that's locally owned, cares about their quality, and provides an outstanding experience for their customers! My husband and I went here for the first time yesterday and from the greeting to the time we paid our check we were impressed. The waitress could clearly explain and answer questions about the drink menu and food menu and offered great suggestions based off what she learned about us and our tastes through conversation. We had the onion au gratin appetizer as well as the lamb sandwich and salmon sandwich with the watermelon salad and baba ganoush as sides. All was delicious! Overall we love the attention to detail to the patrons and to the food and will definitely be back for more. Excited to try their dinner menu.

Super yummy and authentic Mediterranean food made from scratch. Not an adventurous eater? This the perfect spot to try something new without going too far out do your comfort zone (aren’t you tired of burger and bbq?) Try a few of the pita dips: the hummus and tzatziki tasted so fresh! Not to mentioned the warm homemade pita bread. 😋😋 Don’t miss out on the Quipe Bites, think of falafels but tastier! The paella was outstanding and not overpowered by the seafood at all. I could have bowlfuls of the rice alone for days. 😁 Service was also great! Don’t you hate when your server disappears after he brings you your food? Orlando was funny and friendly with some great recommendations. Can’t wait to go back and try the cocktails and brunch!

As many others have mentioned in the reviews, the food is phenomenal but our service tonight was flat out bad.

We had a few appetizers and the bread pudding, each was outstanding. Honestly some of the best food I’ve had in San Antonio. However, after making a reservation for later than we had hoped we arrived and did not get a table and had to sit at the bar. We were told we’d be notified when a table opened up but half an hour after sitting at the bar we had to remind them that we would like a table. About an hour after our reservation time we got to be seated. We had to order food at the bar because we heard the kitchen would be closing from another guest around us. Getting the attention of any staff here is shockingly hard. They closed the kitchen and forgot about multiple dishes we ordered, so we just didn’t get them. We flagged someone down to ask for drink refills and after 15 minutes we still didn’t get them. Then they messed up our check and charged us for things we didn’t order. I still don’t know who our waiter was. Maybe they were understaffed, but it felt as if the staff just didn’t want to be interacted with and were trying to avoid it.

I hope they fix this because the food is incredible and we’d love to go back and have a normal experience where the frustration doesn’t dampen the evening, which was over $150 for two with a...

My fiancée and I have visited this restaurant multiple times across various occasions, spending a good sum each time. The food is undeniably delicious, offering a unique and healthier dining option in the area, which we’ve always appreciated. While the prices feel a tad steep, the quality and distinctiveness of the dishes have kept us coming back. However, the consistently poor customer service has become impossible to overlook. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels pretentious and unwelcoming, as if the staff would rather you weren’t there. The servers are often indifferent, dismissive, and unengaged. When we’ve asked for recommendations or basic requests, we’re met with apathy, and many seem uninterested. This lack of warmth and hospitality is deeply disappointing, especially given the amount we’ve spent here. Sadly, despite the excellent food, the off-putting service has made it difficult to justify returning. A restaurant with such potential shouldn’t leave loyal customers feeling unvalued. We hope they address these issues, but for now, we...

Food - 4.5, Service - 1

We've wanted to come here for quite a while, and the food did not let us down! We had the seafood paella, hummus, beets, and piquillo peppers - all were delicious.

However, our service really put such a damper on the entire experience. Our server barely greeted us, never asked if we'd like additional drinks, and we even had to flag him down more than once just to place our orders. He engaged with us as if he was doing us a favor. We asked for food recommendations since it was our first visit, and he offered nothing. Food was dropped at our table without a word or even a smile the entire evening.

Understandably, everyone can have a bad day, and maybe this was the case, but it really is unfortunate that an establishment serving such quality food would result in this type of disappointing experience overall due to poor,...
