SO RUDE! This time will be the last time I come to this place. We came in with a bubble tea cup which we just bought from other place. They did not mentioned anything about CUSTOMER WAS NOT ALLOWED TO BRING OUTSIDE DRINK OR FOOD at the moment we just walked in. Once we were seated, the sever asked what we would want drink so we just ordered a water (it was our fault for not getting something fancier), he then ignored us for 20 mins. Then a lady (maybe a manager) came over our table and she started talking with a very RUDE way and LOUD. It was all about we brought bubble tea into their restaurant. It immediately got other guests attention. It was embarrassing when we would not expect to experience at any restaurant in Dominion area. We could feel all that attitude towards us from the staffs so we decided to take everything to go. And the lady also talked to her co-worker at the same RUDE tone which I could heard. At many other Thai restaurants, I would totally understand how they speak English, Thai people were so sweet and nice all the time. You should have told us right at the front door we would understand and happy to come back without the drink. The food was very good which we really appreciate but we would not come back to get anymore of embarrassment...
Read moreWaitress put food in wrong, then charged us for the wrong food that she put in when they had to remake it. So we had to pay for them to remake a dish they put in wrong. So be very careful when you go there. If you order and they put your order in wrong. You will still have to pay for it very bad business ethics at this restaurant. Then she forgot to ring in the soup, we had to remind her. We couldn't get refills on our drinks. Then she decided to tell all of the people that she was working with to peek around the corner and look at us, because we did not like the dish that they remade in two seconds that the dish was thrown together and was not tasting correct. So we sent that back because it did not taste good and they made us pay for that also. It's definitely a very unpleasant experience and uncomfortable, especially when we did not like the food and she had to tell all of her staff members about what was going on. And we could see all of them peeking around the corner. Looking at us. There is no management that works at this establishment. Obviously. It is ran by employees only. I would say it is a unsafe environment to go eat with people operating and serving food under no supervision. Who knows what else they could be doing...
Read moreWe visited Kin Thai and Sushi yesterday, June 24, 2018 and were quite satisfied with the experience. The owner/hostess, Pal greeted us with the biggest smile as she said hello in her native tongue, Thai. Food was delicious. We had some sashimi and sushi for starter - all very fresh and beautifully plated. Our main course for three fill the four-top table with Shrimp Tom Yum, Crispy Pork Belly and Greens, Zucchini Pahd Thai with chicken, and Pahd Woon-Sen with chicken - all oh-so-good. We then dily dallied at our table to try to make room in our happy tummies for some dessert. We eventually decided to forego the for sure to be scrumptious dessert until next time. We will have to pace ourselves better next time! The service staff was courteous and attentive - always smiling and polite. The Chef, Jay made his round and visited with us and other guests to pulse our satisfaction - a nice touch. For readers who have not experienced the kinship of Kin, do it. For those readers who have been there I'm sure, like me you...
