Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in San Antonio

I’ve tried to give the Leon Springs location a chance so many times, usually resulting in disappointment, but tonight was the last straw. I recently went to Baskin and Robbins with my daughter. We both ordered double scoop, hot fudge sundaes with vanilla ice cream and we were pleasantly surprised that the hot fudge machine wasn’t broken. When we received our order there was only one scoop of ice cream in each bowl, and one tablespoon of “hot fudge.” It was neither hot nor fudgey. It looked like something that came out of my dogs butt 20 minutes ago and started to harden. The sundaes were inedible. We tasted a bit of the “hot fudge” and it looked and tasted like chocolate donut frosting (see picture below). Pretty sure they sloppily smeared some frosting in the bowl and called it hot fudge. I have never really written negative reviews, I usually just let it go, but we moved here about 6 months ago and we frequented this place over the summer and literally every single time, they either didn’t have bananas, no fudge, no rocky road ice cream. I stopped going, and then 2 days ago I was driving by, and decided to go through the drive thru, and again, no hot fudge, and are out of bananas and brownies. Soooooo, what exactly do they carry?!?! It’s on their menu, so it’s kind of important to carry the items they advertise. The girls working are nice, and have mentioned the owner cuts corners and doesn’t order enough bananas, and sales then ice cream like (banana split) and just charges the same and people usually go home an add the banana, but there’s no discount. Went to this place with an entire family only to find out they’re closed at 4:15 PM!! The employee inside was still serving ice cream via drive-through window and when I approached him through the drive-through window, this kid says that he locked the doors because it’s only him in the store and everyone else left!! Instead of keeping the doors open and serving customers, he locked the doors. Many people stopped by and found there’ themselves dumbfounded just like myself. Poor management is not the appropriate word but that’s the only way I can describe it. Avoid this place...
