Casa Chacon — Restaurant in San Antonio

They don't like people that stay sitting for to long after they finished. Owner has a bad attitude towards the new servers, they can't get new servers!!! They quit the next day. It's a family business, daughter is a waitress get there late and leaves early, gets most of the tables since she's been there a long time? and son it's in the drive thru with a very bad attitude all the time, they all feel like they deserve some time of recognition, including the lady at the front, and the other big lady that can barely walk around, they take tables from the new servers too so they can barely make any money out of their tips. If you break a glass they will charge you. Owner parks right in front of the restaurant entrance, I guess he doesn't care about the clients...and probably they don't want to walk extra steps. Tortillas are bland and dry, food it's just tasteless in my opinion. If you are a student they will charge you for whatever you order as soon as you sit down. They may have 100 point for a clean restaurant but their attitude and service is bad, so...

This place used to be the best for quality and price but they've been slacking and upping the prices for a while now. The bean and cheese tacos were my favorite, but those tacos are now like thick bean juice and cheese. And now you can taste too much of the bacon fat the beans are cooked in. And forget the tea--it's just sugar water with some tea. And barbacoa tacos which I used to also buy are now about 6$ per taco with guacamole. There is nothing special about the taco, so why so expensive? The waitress said that the pandemic has caused them to raise the price on beef items. Really? By 2$ per taco? Buying six tacos here now is like buying a whole bbq family meal down the street, and over there you get vegetables. I'm pretty sure we're done with this place--it's worth driving 10 minutes the other way to get quality tacos for decent price. Too, the guy in the drive thru window is so rude. Never says hi or thank you or...

Today June 4th 2018 was the very first time I went there I usually go to my favorite Mexican restaurants but I wanted finding different so I pass up this restaurant everyday and never stopped this morning I was so hungry and at the last minute I just decided to stop . Went thru the drive thru which was very convenient since I was in a hurry and hungry so I looked at the menu which had a good selection of good food choices to choose from I just decided to get some hard chicarron tacos con queso since it's been a while since I've ate them. Anyway they were the best I mean they were delicious taco's omg I mean the best. I think I'm hooked now. Can't stop thinking about how good those chicarron taco's were I will definitely be going there again and again for those taco's and to see what else their working with. I give 5 stars for this place . And I rarely rate on Google. I had to share...
