Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in San Antonio

My favorite thing used to be them apple pies until my husband told me that they had fish burgers and man that became my favorite thing here. I used to crave the ones from Fred’s fry but hell no chicken is the best. I just hate the fact that every time I want one or ran out of them and I have to drive to Timbuktu to get one serve it would be better if they could all serve them and have them 24 seven don’t go to church that much every day all the time I would be eaten or two every day I could promise you that I don’t know if anybody likes gizzards but my husband loves them from there so yeah I could put that on here and let you know that he loves them from there Because he says just not too gooey and crispy in the middle personally I’ve never tried my husband the same we both put our review. My three stars on the service because everyone that I have gone to the employees are just there just doing the job like they don’t care like it’s just they don’t want to be there and they don’t really listen and you have to wait a really long time On the atmosphere again, because the employees at least that most of them are been to they don’t really care about their jobs. They don’t really clean it up and make it nice here at the soda machine cleaning up the mess that someone else just cause that’s what I do that shouldn’t be my job. I don’t get paid for that restroom. I don’t even go in at all because I know that nasty , my husband said they smell like piss and it makes you wonder they work there and they use the restrooms. Just imagine how nasty the restrooms are in their own home. My husband taught me where you keep it and you will reflect on how you are in your own home and everything in life, so I know I have that restaurant because I don’t like to have a messy house. This afternoon 6/15/2019 at 545pm my mother and myself went through the drive thru, and ordered a 10 peice with fries and corn nuggets. We were ask to pull to the front to wait for our orders. We waited about 20 minutes and no one came out . So i went inside to see what was taking so long the whole crew seemed disorganized and confused. I waited another 10 minutes and was finally handed my order. i always check to make sure everything is correct before leaving. I checked my items and saw that i had maybe enough fries for one person when i ask about the fries iwas told that what i was given was a large fry and that the one that i was normally given for a family is considered an extra large and was 499. And the chicken was cold after sitting in the box for 20 minutes. And as i was walking out the manager was making some kinda remarks about me that caused all the people inside to look at me . I did not appreciate how i was treated, and will return to that location i have purchased the same order before and was given the correct size sides according to the meal size. So i got cold chicken and sides for one for 22 dollars. Those people need to get organized and not make remarks about customers to the our customers it is embarrassing and rude considering i did not raise my voice or use rude language. I will be contacting the corporation so thst they can be aware of how their employees are treating their customers. A side note there were 2 other cars waiting as well. And my husband said that the chicken is dry and hard. I advise anyone who is considering this location, go somewhere else. If i could leave no star's i would but it won't let me. Ordered 2pc fish platter with biscuit 1 side of mash and Red Fanta drink. Also add a 4pc shrimp. Paid, given drink without a straw. Pulled up to wait for order to be dropped fresh. Got off went to window t ok ask for a straw. Female worker saw me get off vehicle & was at window waiting to ask for a straw. Waited a few minutes. Female worker and other coworkers did not come to window. So got back in the vehicle. Waited for my order to be brought to me. Asked for a straw and noticed I only got 3 shrimps not 4. No napkins or utensil. Informed the female worker of it. She proceeded back to get my 1 shrimp that was missing along with napkins and utensil. Poor customer service, but food was hot and fresh. Only because of the cook. But drive thru and front counter worker. Need coaching for delivery better customer service. When an order has a side ordered that requires an eating utensil. A utensil should automatically be placed in bag with a napkin/napkins, period. Straw should have been given when drink was handed to me. But not one coworker acknowledged me at window.
