Cinderella Bakery — Restaurant in San Antonio

Sunday morning started off a total nightmare til I found this bakery at last minute. Saved me completely. I had pre-ordered a 3 tier cake a month beforehand, just for the cake designer to drop the cake, day of my daughters birthday party. I needed something fast. They had the perfect sheet cake ready, spray painted purple upon request, threw some glitter, and wrote my daughters name elegantly. For $40 I'd say that is pretty awesome, I would have loved to tip, but signs state that the business does not accept tips. So I hope this review sends more business your way. Great pan dulce and other pastries. I stopped in a few years back. I've been going back since. I take friends not familiar with the place. They agree with me. I like to chat with Henry when he's not too busy. Great man ! Henry makes the place more than just another bakery. I saw on the news Henry, that you were ailing and closed. I prayed for you 🙏. Been going there for over 35yrs I wish they wouldn't close the business... So I heard... I remember always stopping there before we went back to Houston... We would go home with a full size cake box full and two bags full or cookies... Piedras my favorite... Pink top cake... Pan de huevo... Tarts... Empanadas... Donuts... You name it... All super delicious... So go and enjoy it all as much as you can before it's all gone... Who knows maybe we can all help bring up the sales... And they stay open... It's a family tradition...
