Visited this place for the first time last week, and I can say we are very disappointed. The girl that worked behind the counter was EXTREMELY blunt and rude. I've worked in coffee/customer service jobs for 10+ years and this was one of the worst experiences I've seen. I tried ordering a tall and was interrupted asking "what size is that?" Pointed to the cup they had displayed and she said "ok that's a medium". Didn't really look at the menu much so my fiancé went for his go-to drink which is a caramel/vanilla latte, and she goes "that's a white wedding" very snappy. There was a gentleman from the back that came to help finish ringing us up while she made drinks. He was repeating our drinks back to us, and she walks over and starts talking down to him "no I already have their drinks, this is his, that's hers, you don't need to do that. Just ring them up." Needless to say we definitely will not return. For a person working for your tips you really need to be more respectful of your customers. Coffee was so-so. Customer service was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing, and the music was amazing! I spent several hours studying here and would absolutely do it again. I drove about an hour to check out this coffee shop for the first time, and it was totally worth it.
I’ve been hopping around to different coffee shops and have visited so many—but this one really stood out. From the moment I walked in, everything just hit right.
The decor is such a vibe—the records on the wall, the drum table, and all the different classic rock-themed items were so fun to look at. Every corner had something cool to notice. I even joked around with one of the employees about their Wi-Fi password, and it just added to how fun and laid-back the place felt.
The owners run the shop themselves, and it really shows. They clearly care deeply about their coffee shop and the customers they serve. I’m just so happy I got to experience this place—it’s more than just a coffee shop, it’s an experience....
Read moreI walked into this place and I immediately felt like i was at home. Guitars and amazing records on the wall. Good tunes playing. Ive never been a daily coffee person. But i was willing to try out this place based on atmospheric vibe alone. I explained to the charming barista what type of coffee drink i enjoy, and their expertise landed me as a daily visitor at first sip. Over the past two months of daily consumption of their menu, I can confidently declare everything is delicious. The varieties of coffees to the food options of sandwiches, flatbreads, and breakfast tacos. Its all most excellent and my drink of choice is the Great White Buffalo. If youre a long standing SA native and miss the classic rock station KZEP.. this can be your little oasis of rock n roll music but with tasty...
