THE MEN WHO WORK ON THIS DOCK DESERVE BIG RAISES!
This place is DISGUSTING! The area around the receiving dock is foul and funky and dangerous! It smells like rancid, rotting meat! There are standing puddles of stagnet, filthy water with rotting food and blood in it and the entire area is COVERED WITH FLYS! They have a LIVE extension cord running the length of the building, through the same rancid water puddles listed above.
You have to park across the street in the dirt lot and walk back across to the building to check in. Walk back to the 2nd gray building on the right, by the water tower and speak to the ladies inside. When they are ready for you, someone will walk across the street and knock on your door.
When we got here, their dock plate wouldn't lift so they had to lift it with a claw hammer and a crow bar to rig it in order to get us unloaded. Huge safety & Health Hazard!
I don't know where they distribute to, but there's no way in hell I would purchase or eat anything that came from here.
The stink of the place sticks to your skin, clothes and hair! GROSS, FOUL,FUNKY,RANCID & OVERALL DISGUSTING!!
On a positive, the lady in the office and the dock guys...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey work people crazy for 10 an hour. Unsafe conditions, non common sensed people, eating in the production area over conveyer belts, people dropping their rusted blades from their utility knife on the floor then picking it up and proceeding to cut food products with it.... I have never seen such crazy business practices. We've got people who couldn't pass a basic safety test, read or write, and they expect folks like this to care about their job enough to practice good work ethic on the thousands of pounds of food served to the general public???? Wowwww is all I gota say. Amongst the highest turnover rates I've ever seen. No organization or communication with staffing agencies and the company and they utilize 4 staffing companies( that I know of ) and all the while USDA is supposed to be here monitoring this stuff and I havent once seen them. Good luck to anyone trying to work here u may or may not not get paid and u may or may not be safe in this work...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst interview experience of my life, was lied to about the position I was interviewing for, was told I was to be placed in a position that would best suit me and that position would not be what I have been doing for the last 3 and a half years. Tried to stick me in a position that they just needed to fill, made me feel like I had a bad attitude for questioning why I wasnāt offered at least a forklift test, it appears like theyād rather have someone who doesnāt speak English that they can take advantage of, left for another interview the same day and got hired for significantly more with another company who obviously observed my skills on a forklift and hired me immediately, thank god I didnāt get taken advantage of by this shifty bad hearted company and management staff, H.R. is the worst Iāve dealt with as well, usually h.r. is the best part of dealing...
