Went to the drive thru around 12am on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. After waiting 5-6 mins to have my order placed, no one ever spoke to me over the loud speaker, I then moved over to the second speaker and waited another 3-4 mins, still no one spoke to me over the loud speaker, so I pulled forward to place my order at the window. There were three vehicles ahead of me so it took several minutes to pull up to the window to speak to someone. While waiting in line for the window, another vehicle came up behind me, they did have their order taken because the employee asked if their order was my order. I told him no, no one ever took my order at either speaker and wanted to place my order with someone at the window. He looked nervous and told me management does not like when employees do this, even though I did not want to drive around to the speaker again, I also did not want to cause a problem for this employee, so, reluctantly, I drove around the restaurant to pull up to the speakers again. This time though, there were 4 other vehicles already in line and since I had already been there 10-15 mins before these vehicles, I did not feel it was right that I wait behind all these orders. So, I pulled around to get in line for the window a second time. This time I asked the employee of I could please speak to the manager so that person could hear what had been happening and place my order for me. The manager barely approached the window and after I was interupted by him while explaining the confusion, he told me he could not and would not place my order at the window because he said he only had one computer to use to enter orders and could not access that computer at the window. I was completely surprised that this manager could not resolve this matter by simply taking the order by writing it down and walking to the available computer to place the order. Instead, he said I needed to go back, yet again, to the drive thru speaker in order to place my order. I had already tried that in the first place at BOTH drive thru speakers and no one took my order at either speaker. I could not believe a manager was not willing to, first, listen to my concern without being rude and interrupting me and then, second, unwilling to correct THEIR issue with the drive thru speaker and, third, refusing to place my order at the window. Read moreI had to force myself to give this place three stars. The only reason I gave them that much is because I'm hard core hooked on the frappes. I've reviewed this place before, and things haven't gotten any better. The food was good considering it's McDonald's. The frappes are the only reason I even come here anymore. The last TWO DAYS they overcharged me when I bought the 5 dollar box. It's supposed to have a choice of burgers, small fry, 4 mcnuggets and a small drink. Last night, they tried to charge me extra for the drink. Today, they did the same thing! Last night, the "manager" asked me if I wanted my money back. Yes, I want my money back. He seemed surprised. Today, I noticed it before they actually charged me. He couldn't explain why he had charged me extra for the drink. I'm not sure what kind of game they're running over there, but I don't appreciate it. So I'm not impressed with the service or the atmosphere. A general complaint is with their app. I'd prefer to stay home and order delivery. It costs more. A lot more. I swear if I order the frappes, the app tells me it's not available. But I guarantee you that if I get in the car and go up there, it's available. It's soooo annoying. Honestly, could they be any more lazy? I'm positive, that's why it's not available. They're too lazy to make it. If I wasn't hooked on it, McDonald's would be a part of my past life. Basically, this place sucks.
Updated review: There's still nothing good to say about this place. Their app still doesn't work correctly. It bugs me because you earn bonus points in the app every time you buy something. The points can be used to purchase free food. But if the app says it's not available, then you can't use your points. And it's extra irritating when you're forced to spend money on items you should be able to get for free. But lately, whenever I've ordered a frappe, they can't seem to make it correctly. I got held up and left a little later than I meant to, when I got to the curbside parking spot and tried to input the number, it gave me the loading screen. After waiting to see if it would work, I closed out the app and opened it again to try again. The app told me I would have to go inside or through the drive thru. As I’m attempting to see if I can still do curbside (ik apps can be weird and just wanted to mess with it for a moment) and employee comes out, confirms what order I’m here for, and then berates me for having not checked in, how could they know I’m here if I haven’t checked in. I attempt to explain that the app was messing up, I had just pulled in and had been messing with it when she had come out. I explained that i was about to go through the drive thru. She told me that the order was ready and she would bring it out, but that next time I had to check in. I was upset as I had just pulled in and was messing with the app, but was just going to let it go, I only wanted some fries to snack on while I drove home. Except she didn’t come back with my order. I tried to go inside to get it, but no one ever came up to the counter, despite the many employees working. I leave and pull into the drive thru, clearly upset. The employee at the pay window was nice. When I go to the pickup window, the manager comes over, and essentially says it’s my fault, as you have to check into a spot within 10min of placing the order, otherwise you have to go through the drive thru (which the app does not say, and it’s not like you can place an order to be delayed). She continued to talk over me as I attempted to explain why I was upset, (her employee berating me when I hadn’t been parked for more than a minute, who then never came back with my food, and being ignored when I attempted to go inside).
