It's sad to know that there are some restaurants that have potential, but I guess their are some that take their patrons for granted, I say this for the reason that when I have went to this certain establishment #1- I am never greeted! #2- seems as though they are more customer oriented to their regulars, so seems as though you don't exist as a patron!! #3- their customers service is not all that, they are rude and seems like I can ever get a second refill on My tea or for My kids! Also I remember the very first time My children and I came here We we're received the same service stated above, but the one thing that threw My children and I off was that when it was near closing time they asked us to leave because they we're cleaning so We asked to get plates and cups to go and said they charge.50 cents per container, that was just ridiculous!!! They wanted to close up and ask us to leave and now they are charging for to go plates etc.,after We payed over $50.00, for our meal!, what nerve!! I believe in giving second chances, but it's sad to know that they serve good food, but don't Value All their customers, and after all We are the ones that pay their salaries!!! This one last time on Friday, My children and we're going to get something it was only 4:30 p.m.,and closing time stated was open until 5 p.m. We got out near the front door and they turned off the open sign and locked the door, I should of called the Fire Marshal because technically they are to stay open that is stated on their Texas permits of businesses hours, next time they do that I will be calling the Fire Marshal next time!!, it's hard to find any Mexican restaurants in this are and it's sucks to know the one that is near and could make more business Is running out the customers that are looking for a Mexican...

Today 12/30/18 My friend and and I went to Salsa's for breakfast. We have been dining at this restaurant since they first opened. When we started eating here we loved it the food was always great. Customer service exceptional. In the last year good service has become the acception instead of the rule. Food quality has decreased dramatically. Ahora ordene huevos rancheros y en lugar de tocino le pide chicharrĂłn en salsa rojo . First the waitress brought my friends plate and the plate with chicharrĂłn en salsa rojo after a short time she brought the rest of my breakfast by the time my plate arrived the chicharrones were cold I noticed two pieces of eggshell on my eggs I brought it to the waitresses attention she took the eggshells back and did not offer to replace my food I simply told her you need to tell the cook to be more careful she left the table and did not come back when I took the last bite of my eggs I got eggshells in my mouth so I took them out and when the waitress came to clear the table I brought it to her attention that there were more eggshells in my eggs and this time I had almost eaten them. When my friend went to pay for our food and I brought this to the cashiers attention she said I should have brought it to waitresses attention. I told her that I had brought it to the waitresses attention and the waitress came to the register I'm verified that I have brought it to her attention the cashier then said that the waitress should have offered to replace my plate which server waitress had not offered and the manager told me but that was too bad that she was not going to change anything on the ticket and we paid full price for meal and drinks and left hip or we will not be dining at this...

The worst service I've ever dealt at a Mexican restaurant. I will NOT return. The server first off came to my table with a mouth full of food asking what I want to drink. I knew right then and there I should have got up, but I gave them a chance. When she came back asking what I'd like to order I said give me a few extra minutes, first time here. When she returned I placed my order the puffy taco plate with 2 cheese enchiladas. They were served just fine. So when I was ready to eat my puffy tacos I noticed I didn't have tortillas, so instead of waiting I walked up to the counter and asked do tortillas come with the plate she played dumb and said I don't know and asked someone else. So when she delivered the tortillas I asked her, are you new? To give her the benefit of the doubt, she stated no I've been here for 4 years. So, I stated, so you didn't know the plate came with tortillas? She knew right then and there she wasn't playing with a dumb person. She had another person come up and ask me what happened, I explained, and that woman wanted to give her an excuse of stating, she doesn't understand much English. I told her please don't excuse her for her rude behavior. She completely understood me and asked the other person at the register, if the plate gets tortillas. I knew that this server had a problem with me when she came to the table. I will not return and will spread about the terrible service. You're not going to treat people with disrespect and rudeness. Especially when there's no...

This place is really small, but the food is a GREAT price. If you want authentic Mexican food with good spicy salsa and a homey feel, this is the place to go to. We are avid Data Pointe go-ers, but since we moved we decided to try this place and it really didn’t disappoint. I had the 4 mini taquitos de carne asada (that comes with the charro beans) and it was only $6.95. At the other place we love going to its $8.25 for 5 mini taquitos and that doesn’t include the beans. The tacos were good, but the meat needed to be a little more “fresh” since it was a little cold. Also, when we sat down no one offered us chips and salsa so we had to ask another waitress. It wasn’t too busy so I wasn’t sure why they didn’t bring us any. We also saw that other people had several bottles of salsa, but they didn’t bring any out with our food, so we had to ask for that again. We got checked on once, but to be honest, I didn’t mind. The tacos were good, but the beans were amazing and so were ALL of the salsas, another thing our other restaurant doesn’t have (we only like 1 of the 3). I do highly recommend coming. It’s cheaper than the taco truck down the road and it’s waaaaaay better tasting!

We went on a slightly busy Saturday. There were plenty of open tables, but like no staff to guide us no host no fuel signs that say seat yourself so we stood awkwardly in the middle of the restaurant for like five minutes as a group of seven and then went up to look like a to go counter and asked and they said oh yeah I just see yourself so we did. We push some tables around and found extra chairs and made a table for ourselves. The atmosphere is like any other rundown Mexican restaurant in any other run downtown where the music was way too loud. The TVs were playing Telemundo, but it was particular showing a horror movie called the thing which is just like not appropriate for midday with our kids and there was some miscommunication with the server. I ordered a bistec with onions and the image doesn’t show that the steak was all one piece where the bistec Mexicana is a bunch of chopped up small pieces, which is what I was hoping for All in all it was a real two star experience. The food was OK. The service was bad. the atmosphere was awful.

Food isn't too bad, but i ordered special which cost more than some places. 3 tacos same for $5. Got bean and cheese, one egg taco, potatoes with chorizo ( that was a lot of chorizo) it was 2.3 rating was kind of salty but prefer more potatoes. Chorizo wasn't my favorite. I got a chicken fajita with bell peppers.. i added my own avocado at home. But tell me why it tasted weird after a few bites.. they put refried beans in it. Like what the heck.. gross. Check your food before. Usually i do i was too tired and forgot. Tacos were ok. Hit or miss with this place.
