My family and I have dined here since they first opened. Before they had the newer look, before they opened up the extra space for parking. The food was good then. Lately it's been a hit or miss and tonight was the topping on the tres leche cake. My go to order were the mini tacos de pastor. This time I got my order and they were a bit cheap on the meat cold and my frijoles were cold, I mean not even warm. Pero, hit or miss depending on the cooks right? My wife ordered fajita nachos. They were good but, they served the guacamole with jalapeños in it she didn't eat. Our server didn't listen well and would literally run off whenever he had a chance. I pointed out the jalapeños and asked for some guacamole without peppers. He came back with a tiny cup of sliced avocado, $2.75. Still giving them the benefit of the doubt, hit or miss evaluation, we ordered 2 Patron margaritas. The first one came in a plastic cup that tasted like watered down lemonade mixed with cheap tequila. Pero again, hit or miss and my wife drank it anyway. We were meeting family for a social evening and didn't want to bother being petty. The next one I asked for it to be served in a glass. This time it was better, the taste of Patron and sweet/sour mix in a margarita was what it's supposed to taste like. For the years we've been going there, we never had an issue with them until tonight. But, the topper of this review is how rude Fatima, the owner, was when I inquired about the bill. It looked like they charged for 4 margaritas when the order was only for two. The way the have it on the bill is fishy and I asked for an explanation. Not one time was I rude or had an attitude. I was simply curious about the charges. You can see on our bill they charged $16 for 2 Patron Silver shots and 2 House margaritas, one frozen one on the rocks. Both were on the rocks btw. Fatima's explanation was that was how they write up the charges by making a house margarita then adding the Patron to it. Which is confusing because now we're paying for extra shots to a house margarita when it should only be top shelf selection. So $5.99 for a 12oz house margarita plus $8 for a shot of Patron. A few weeks ago we dined there and it wasn't $14 for a top shelf margarita then. Pero ok, again hit or miss right? I wasn't trying to be cheap. The issue on the bill was confusing because of how it looked like we were being charged for a house margarita with an added shot of tequila, which was not what was ordered. So I asked Fatima how much is it for a virgen margarita and she said "then it would just be a lemonade". What? I was annoyed enough by then and just paid the bill. I told her we how long we've been dining there and never had an issue, even on the hit or miss days when they rarely missed we still gave our thumbs up. We'll she missed bigtime as her attitude became rude AF and said that we don't have to come back again. Duh. I was completely surprised her attitude when I was polite to her. Her rudeness shined as she said we didn't have to like it either. As we walked out my wife was trying to asked her a question and Fatima completely ignored her mentioning to me about how they have cameras and this and that. What was the point saying this? So we paid and left never to return. On top of it all, this was the 1st time our family we met there ate there. They also won't return. This place has gone down and it's sad. Maybe if Fatima wasn't so into herself she wouldn't be so rude. So 1 star for the nachos. 🚨 Ok had to come back to edit my comment and add that they now tried to charge us $10 more than what the bill was. I'm not cheap but I won't tip for poor service. Well, they thought they can just take it anyway. I sent the dispute to our bank. Fatima is a thief and terrible host/owner. 1...
Read moreHad such a bad experience at this place. Had wanted to spend a day with my daughter and enjoy a great lunch so I made the huge mistake of choosing La Siberia. To begin with we had no other choice than to move around to a location away from the windows to avoid so many flies inside that place! It was horrible. Finally after sitting ourselves and ordering our food, I noticed that my enchilada plate looked different from the other times that I have ordered them. The sauce was actually ranchero sauce, the same sauce served on top of eggs! It had a very tomato sweet taste to it as well. I just could not eat it with my enchiladas, since we all know, that sauce does not belong on top of enchiladas. After calling the waitress and explaining to her, she was very nice and apologetic and took the plate back . I had wanted to exchange it for mole enchiladas instead, and she stated that there would be no problem. A few minutes later a mad woman came to our table, leaned in close to me and asked me what was the issue with my first plate. After explaining to HER now, she went on to tell me that the mole was made with chocolate and that I might not want those as well since they were sweet! I was appalled!!! I then told her I knew exactly how mole is made and that only I can make the decision whether I want it or not. I then asked her what the problem was, I assured her that I would pay for both plates if I needed to. She said that if I didn't then the waitress would be billed for it. It was such an uncomfortable feeling being there, the rudeness and unprofessionalism was something I never knew we would come across in at that place. Mind you, we are a family of 9 and we order take out from this place for a while now but it was our first time there in person. I'm just glad we did not have the entire family there, it was only my daughter and I. As soon as I received my mole plate, I was getting ready to eat and 2 ladies approached the table and wanted to know what the issue was with the other lady, so there we go again explaining it all, she said that they had a new cook for that shift and she started serving the enchilada plates with ranchero sauce on top instead of enchiladas sauce and she said she was going to speak to the owner and let her know about the other rude lady as well, she apologized and said we would not be paying for our order and she wish we would continue to come back. I thanked her, but instead, when the bill arrived, we were given 2 dollars off the entire bill! I paid our bill, gave the waitress her tip since she was very nice to us. We spend a bit over 75 dollars everytime we order out, but after this episode we will take our business somewhere else. I will never recommend this place to no one. People please stay away! They...
Read moreService was just awful. She took our order. She brought our food. She never came back to check if we needed any refills. I had asked somebody else for a to go box. She brings me the ticket and shows me the bill. The bill said 42.20 mind you it was 3 of us that were eating my mother, myself and my sister. she takes my debit card and it takes her 10 minutes I had to get up and go look for my card. I left a tip on the table 7 dollars. She gives me the ticket to sign and the ticket says 49.20 I asked her to see the breakdown and she said she couldn’t re-print it so she had one in her hand that she turned around and grabbed and try to crumble up and I said give that to me and she proceeds to tell me what the mixed drinking wasn’t on there, so I had to redo it, I get to the car and the mixed drink was on there so I get off the car and I go back in there. It turns out on three people. She automatically charged a service charge of seven dollars and then I left her seven dollar tip so she thought she was gonna get $14 out of me. I know putting a service charge on six or more but I’ve never heard of a service charge on three. So when she brings me the other ticket, she finally shows me that she add-the service charge and I said oh the service charge so you add your tip in already she goes yes and I thought I took it off she knew exactly what she was doing because she walked me to the door and she kept saying are we good? Are we good? People check your ticket before you leave this place because what they’re doing you’re leaving the tip on the table and there including a service charge and not giving you the ticket. They shouldn’t stereotype either so I come down from Houston to help my mother move back to Houston and we’ve had a long day and we wanted something to eat. Of course we weren’t dressed up fancy and I guess she assumed we weren’t gonna tip. An that’s because she never even came back to the table and then she’s going to add a service charge after I actually left a tip on the table. Then not tell me that she had add the service charge and expected me to not go back and ask for the break down then lie about she even tried to tell me that she charge me 42.20 not 49.20 and made me go to my bank account to look exactly at how much she charge me when she knew. Charging people, and not telling them in my eyes is against the law. You can say that they steal...
