Taqueria Fiesta Charra — Restaurant in San Antonio

Tea has a funny taste to it. I come at other times and it still taste funny. I love drinking tea. So, I know when tea is not good or when it doesn't taste right. I asked for Manchacado with egg. I think that's how it's spelled, but if not I hop you get the point. Anyway I saw breakfast taco for $1.39 for breakfast. So, I order 3 to go for my husband. She rang me up for each taco $1.79 each. I told her no the menu says for breakfast $1.39. I want that price. She told me No and gave me this disgusting look and she said with an attitude it's always $1.79. Well, I know the breakfast special was that or else,I wouldn't have order that. I would of gotten carne guisada instead. Anyway, I'm not going back there anymore. Plus, the tea sucks. It tasted like the tea sat out of the fridge in the tin can over night, and times it tasted like coffee mixed in it. The tea had coffee taste in it. I have complaint to the Manager. But, the fool said to me No, other customer has complaint about it. I said, not a lot of customers will. All they will do is not come back. As I can see from the restraunt looks pretty dead to me. He took my glass and asked me if I wanted something else. I took Horchata instead. I had to drink it coz my mouth was burning with the hot sauce. I'm a diabetic and my sugars were up high that day because of that unsweeten tea. Trust me I did get sweet tea too and it was worst. That's why I asked for that Mexican drink. I told the Manager he better not charge me for those drinks. Just one other time I did go. The tea was better. But, I went a week ago and it was not good at all again. Plus, she over charged me for the Special that they had going on for that day. I'm not wasting my gas and money anymore going there. Y'all take that chance. But, I gave them the benefit of the doubt maybe the waitress, the cook was having a bad day. But, it's Every time I go either by myself or with my husband. The food is somewhat ok. But you be paying a lot for a little bit of serving. The hot sauce it not made out of real hot sauce. It tastes from a bottle poured into those plastic bottles. If I wanted that I would not complaint about it period. But, if I go to a Mexican restraunt I want fresh hot sauce. That's what makes the food tastes good. But, Mexican restraunt are getting lazy, and they think they can fool people. Ha, not me. Anyway, my choice, my money, bad service, bad tea, they don't honor their prices, and I will definitely not be going back over there anymore. To whom ever read this post..This restraunt is...

Im not gonna lie they do have good food here but the Management and customer service is poor in my eyes and the reasin for it cause in my 30 something years of customer servuce well customers always come first and always make ur customers feel welcomed and feel wanted. I have had not once not twice but a few more isuues with having our order missed up either nit getting what I asked for or not getting our order rite. When calling to explain there was a mix up on our order they will not fix or irder or replaxe your order even if they did not hear the customer rite. I have been told by the customer on duty at all times say Im sorry mam but we can not rplace wat ur missing or what was miss orderd if we did not charge you for wat u say u orderd. Wow thy will satisfiy a customer by reolacing their order or fixing it if u wr not chargd fr it. That to me is...

First timer... and I was pleased with my food and service.

Driving up, I wasn't impressed because the place looks like it's under construction, but the inside is nice. The dining area is well put together and clean.

We sat ourselves and a waitress quickly approached us to provide us menus and get our drink order. A different waitress brought us our drinks and took our food order.

The food was brought out fairly quickly. It was hot and tasty! My nopales and egg and chicharron and egg tacos were yummy and my husband's huevos rancheros were good too. The tacos are full and the plates are packed with food.

The lemonade is made fresh and it's got good taste.

The bathrooms were ok, too small for any average sized person and even smaller for a large framed person.

Overall, I'm pleased with the restaurant and I would come again when...
