Gave this place another try. It was spacious w/ a pleasant atmosphere. The waitresses were nice. The tortillas are handmade. They have red & green hot sauces, neither one was spicy hot. I ordered the Mexican plate. It has 2 enchiladas made w/ american cheese (a plus) but the sauce used is not chili gravy. They used guizada gravy that lacked seasoning and the beans also lacked flavor. The crispy taco was tasty, buthuh the shell was tough. The rice was done nicely. I also tried the Carne Guizada taco w/ avocado. The meat used was of good quality & tender yet it lacked seasoning. All in all it was an ok visit. Yet we will not return due to the lack of sason in the food. It's a shame. Because we really liked the feel of the place.

Used drive thru because I was in the area for work. Got a caldo de res and I loved the vegetables and meat portion in it. The vegetables were very fresh as well and they used the small red potatoes, which I love. The tea tastes fresh too. Thank you 😊

Have been here a few times over the years they've been open. The reason I'm not a regular is because of the service. Each time I've gone I'm waiting for my refill of coffee or tea and my check as well. I can depend on that being the case each time. Rather annoying. On the overall the food is fresh and tasty enough. Also good pricing on most items. Another one of these places with a weird red salsa. I don't know what it is about so many Mexican restaurants in San Antonio but red salsa should let the tomato speak for itself with its acidic flavor shining through without being muddled with other things other than pepper, salt or maybe garlic or cilantro. Doing so otherwise is beyond my understanding. There's also an additive to thicken it in some way to where it's almost like a syrup rather than a salsa. And yet another restaurant where you do not have the luxury of figuring out your bill because wait staff can't do addition or don't have a machine that prints out your bill. Also extremely annoying. That's why I only check on this place every 6 to 9 months or so to see if anything's changed but...

I have been there twice and I found it to have a very pleasant atmosphere. The waitress was nice and the food was great. I tried a pancake. Bean and cheese taco. Coffee. We also had chorizo and egg taco, bacon and egg taco. Tortillas are fresh and delicious. I think if you find something you don’t like let them know I think they will benefit from the criticism. If I had a business that people like but it lack a little seasoning I am sure they could adjust to your flavor. That is what make or breaks a Restaurant. Honesty in a good manner to make them know why you didn’t like the food. I only know I went on a day it was closed. But I don’t see it on the hours of operation. I would definitely feel Great about...
