Came to San Antonio today and was looking for a some yummy Mexican food. This place hit the spot. The hubby had a pork chop with enchiladas, beans and rice on the side. He loved the pork chop, said it had a nice flavor. I had the enchiladas with rice and charro beans with 2 tamales. Everything was delicious. Get a mix of flour and corn tortillas on the side, they are homemade and delicious. Nice, small little place with a nice ambience. Come early because this place has limited seating and fills up quick. Great to bring families too. You might get lucky and the mariachi singer may come in and play some music, he sounded beautiful. You must get a Mexican Coke wouldn't be a meal...

The staff was nice but the service was very slow. I called in an order for six breakfast tacos at 6:10. The tacos were not ready until 6:35. They opened at 6 and were not busy the 20 minutes I waited in the restaurant for my food. The taco fillings were good and tasty. However, the flour tortillas were extremely dry and tasted not fresh, and their green salsa was very watery. I really wanted to like this place, but it just did not provide good service. They have a prime opportunity to get a lot of the surrounding base business, but subpar breakfast tacos will not do it. There are too many other taquerias around to frequent one with bad food and...
