Tia's Taco Hut — Restaurant in San Antonio

Really really bad service. Left to wait for 20 minutes for three basic tacos. About 10 cars that ordered after me all got their food and left . I brought up to the food runner several times that I was still waiting for my order and they always stated they would check on it. I kept waiting and waiting as maybe another dozen or so cars ordered got their food and left and was asking them to just take my card and reverse the charge and I’d leave. They wouldn’t with the same line “let me check on your food.” Again, it was just three basic breakfast tacos. A bean and bacon, a chorizo and egg, and then a picadillo. Those are generally really fast to put together.

So they wouldn’t give me my food and they wouldn’t check on my food and they wouldn’t just give me my money back either. After over 20 minutes or so, I got ahold of a food runner who wouldn’t just give me my money back and gave the same line as before “let me check on your order”. She came 5 minutes later and told me they never put my order in the system. And no one ever bothered to check on my order despite me asking them to. She did offer to get me a complimentary drink, but I couldn’t afford another 25 minutes waiting for someone to bring me a drink.

Now I’m gonna give an honest review of the food. The tacos are ok. B minus. Average to small sized. After eating at a bunch of taquerias in this city, I’m reminded of much larger tacos for a similar price that don’t take that long to get. I’d suggest keep looking around for a...

this location is by far one of the worst disgusting and Rudest. I got to the drive-through at 9:40 AM and wasn't assisted until 9:55 AM. I could understand that if it was busy, but it was not. I also would like to express my frustration on a worker by the name of Liz. She was so disgusting to me and could not get my order right. After waiting over 30 minutes and late to work for two tacos and one drink She argued with me that I didn't order a drink when it clearly showed on the receipt. I checked my tacos to see if they were done correctly and they were not. I paid for sour cream and avocado, which is an extra charge. I did not get that. When addressed of the situation to her, she sent me on my way and told me that if I wanted anything extra, I would need to give her money when I had already paid for my drink and my extra condiments. She was so rude. I went inside to ask for a refund shortly after, and that took foreve, i did not leave tias until 10:30(ridiculous) I called later on to try and speak with the manager about the situation. They put me on hold for 12 minutes and I could hear the conversation in the background of them speaking rudely about me. They never once followed back up again with me and just let me hear the conversations in the background while I waiting patiently and just continued working. This morning, like several mornings I ordered tacos to go. I always place 8-10 separate orders and list them out individually and pay for them together. Every time I pick them up, they are ready, individually bagged by numbers and it is an easy process. This morning when I arrived to pick up my order, I was not acknowledged by the lady working at the cash register. (She is blonde, with a very raspy voice and is at the restaurant just about every time we go.) She kept doing whatever she was doing and never looked up. I awkwardly went to sit and wait for her to finish. She looked at me, yelled out my name, which confirmed she knew who I was, and that I was there to pick up an order. I place large orders from Tia's on Babcock several times a month and dine in frequently. Although her service is never "great", today was not good. She refused to individually bag the orders and dumped all of the tacos into one bag. When I questioned her about the individual bags, she said "I am not going to do that." There are so many good places to eat in San Antonio, and Tia's on Babcock is now off our go to list. She can keep her tacos and her...
