Birrieria La Vacona — Restaurant in San Bernardino

Fresh and authentic Mexican food that will fill you up and leave you with leftovers! I live nearby The Burger Boys and even though we were bummed when we lost Cuca's, TBB came in and kept the local flavors coming. They eventually took over Cuca's old building leaving the original spot available. Birrieria La Vacona enters the chat. BLV specializes in birria dishes with other Mexican staples and much like TBB, they DONT skimp in the portions. Make one thing clear if you visit this place. You will get FED. The food is always fresh and plentiful at these spots and after a friend mentioned trying BLV and being unimpressed, I had to find out for myself. All in all, the birria is good and the food we had was really tasty. The consomme was piping hot and very flavorful! We tried the biria burrito (the burritos are legit here) a BRC burrito, tacos de papa, quesadilla and the California fries. The birria is solid and has good flavor, the BRC burrito was MASSIVE and seriously was outstanding. This place has killer fries (like TBB 🙂) and the quesadilla was one of the better ones I've had In this area. The tacos were solid and even the homemade chips were pretty impressive. The salsas weren't my favorite as one was overly sour and the other seemed like it had every possible birria spice in existence in it making it a little strange. Overall the food is hearty, always fresh and tasty! If your looking for local spot to get your fill where you never have to worry about quality, BLV and TBB are both home runs in that aspect. Order the cheese pizza and add the birria meat. It came with a nice, crispy yet soft shell. The cheese melted well with the birria, held very nicely. It wasn't greasy. Did not fall apart. Birria was nice, juicy and tender. Great flavor. Green salsa, red salsa, sour creme, limes on the side if needed. Pineapple drink was freshly made the cucumber drink was even better, paired very well if the food

Rather, pay the five dollars per taco at taco y Mas Were they load the taco with a birri meat and give you what you pay for, In their green sauce here I'm gonna be Blunt.
