Del Taco — Restaurant in San Bernardino

Horrible customer service. I never felt so disrespected in my life on more than one occasion. This lady with tatoos on her face, who you can tell just got promoted to assistant manager or maybe just to 'trusted employee', was rude and wouldn't give me my free del tacos from the app on my birthday! She's like, you can only use one free item per day here. I think to myself, what is she talking about? Im only using my rewards from the app. Before this incident, another one occurred at this same location a month prior. I am Caucasian and i have never felt such prejudice in my whole life. My six year old son was pooping and the employee would not stop knocking and pressuring him to hurry up. Keep in mind we were in there for about fifteen minutes only because i had to go outside to get paper towels and sanitizer, and had to clean up the whole bathroom because it was THAT DIRTY. They also have two restrooms, why they didn't use the other one is up to anyones imagination. Anyways, after ten knocks in two minutes i had told them im going to take longer if she does not stop harrassing us. She had threatened us that whe would call the cops for lockint ourselves in the bathroom and not letting her mom and dad(i assumed, she called then guests but spoke very nice in spanish to then and thats when i told her to go ahead and do whatnl she needs because they are harrassing a six year old child going poop and cops love it when you...

I am rating a 5 because 99.9 % of the staff is great. Then there's the young lady that helped me Saturday evening 9/21/2024. Her rudeness and sassines (my 11 year old granddaughter's words) was horrible. We drive thru here at least 3 times a week and every time that one sassy girl takes our order, she has an attitude. She'll ask me for my order and after giving to her, she'll say "what"? "What did you say"? Not something like "I'm sorry I didn't hear you can you repeat that please"? I also asked for a quesadilla with green sauce. She responded with an attitude "they come with green sauce"! I order the same thing every week so I know my order and she still got it wrong. I went in the store today and did complain about miss sassy and the wonderful young ladies that were there, made it right because they know me and know I frequent there. As I left the drive thru yesterday, I said thank you have a good evening. Sassy rolled her eyes and shook her head as of she was saying "uggh". I was told that the young lady is not an employee of this particular store and works at a few stores. Please Del Taco retrain her and explain that this position is a customer centric position. I work customer service and know this and that's why I'm nice to food service workers. If she doesn't like her job, perhaps she should look...

I order online..... then continue by calling them personally to verify the order was tru and told the girl that answer that I would be there in 10 mins to pick up..on my bike... She said yes sir we will have it ready ... Only to get there and be told I can go in ...there was 4 employees and none took the time to tell me by tru the door that they were close instead they were just laughing at me and making comments between them ..even the teenager cook poppet his head out also laughing ..it sucked caused after struggling to come up with 10 dollars to have some green burritos and 🌮 for dinner now my card was charged ...the food was ready ... And just cause we were not on a car they laught and told me off ...well that explains why there was no cars in the drive thru even thou it was taco Tuesday ..look I got experience as a area and project manager for 10 years at a roofing company ... If the big white lady is the one in charge get ready to close ... Cause she ain't boss material at all .. so I'll take a pay cut and get the place running to get you back with the sales you need look at your books am I kidding about it...cause running a company and your restaurant...its the same thing only the products change... JK...but you really need to sit them down and teach them people skills...
