Amapola Rico Taco — Restaurant in San Bernardino

We have been coming to Amapola's for years, we love this for a quick good dinner. HOWEVER, came here tonight with my husband and whoever was working drive thru tonight 04.29.2022 (young girl, didn't get a description since we left) was EXTREMELY RUDE. She started off by laughing through the speaker while music was playing (honestly not a huge deal) then asked how she could help. My husband asked "can I have just a minute please" and she proceeded with "umm just so you know we close in 10 minutes". Feeling rushed we began to place our order and this young lady is "sucking her teeth" with every new item we add to the order. I'm a family of 7 we were not ordering the left side of the menu but 8 items. She then said "AYE NO MAMES" thinking we could not understand her. We ended up canceling the order and letter her know it was due to her attitude and she could care less still continuing to make little smart remarks. Sadly, we turned a few newly arriving customers away and advised of the poor service we just received and to not waste their time or money. ADVICE TO UPPER MANAGEMENT FROM A LOYAL CUSTOMER: this should not be acceptable as it is essential to have quality customer service in order to have returning customers. No matter how good the quality of your product (in this case food) impeccable customer service should always be expected to be shown, even if orders stop...

Decent food, but horrible customer service. We waited 30 minutes in the drive thru, were put on hold for another 10 minutes and had our order completely wrong. One burrito had chili when we didn't ask for it inside of the burrito. The other two were cold and full of veggies, with almost no meat inside. We ordered two orders of meat fries and one barely had anything. When we asked for ranch we were informed we had to pay for it. We asked how much it would be to get ranch and the cashier slammed the window shut. The kid on the register seemed like he was under the influence of some kind of a drug. Very slow movements and lack of speech skills. He came off very rude and we spoke to him respectfully. The food used to be good but the quality has gone way down and the prices up. Taste and service doesn't justify the cost at all. The guy at the drive thru tonight was so rude. He shut the window in my face as I was telling HIM thank you when it should have been the other way around. He treated us like we were an inconvenience and not job security. I mean no customers.. no money means no pay. The Shredded Beef "crunchy" tacos were so soggy and greasy I couldn't even eat it. My daughter said her burrito was just nasty, she threw more than half away. Honestly, you can make everything they do at home for less money and waaaaay better quality and taste.
