Alibertos jr mexican food — Restaurant in San Bernardino

I’ve ordered here before. It was good. But that was about 8 months ago. Today I stopped to pick up breakfast for my husband and I. I ordered their breakfast burrito special for $6.99 that was for my husband. The burrito is big and has lots of stuff in it. For $6.99 it’s a good deal. I ordered their breakfast burrito Menudo. Like I said I ordered here before, about 8 months ago the menudo was very good. Rich, full of flavor. Today it was water, almost no hominie in it, the meat didn’t looked cooked enough, and as I said the broth was watered down. They forgot my tortillas and lemon, and onions and everything that goes in menudo. I was able to salvage it some what, I added my own chili I had at home, and thankfully I had lemon, onion and everything else that goes in menudo at home. And I waited at the drive thru window for about 15 minutes for them to give me my order, so them forgetting everything for my menudo is unacceptable to me, if it took them that long. Honestly for $15 for the menudo I was very disappointed. I could have gone Nextdoor to stater bros and grabbed a can of menudo and it would have been better.

Service was good but the food itself is very questionable. My fiancée and I bought a burrito and enchiladas. The Asada burrito itself was lacking in flavor and the meat was very hard at times. Despite no bones felt like you could break a tooth from it. The salsas that came with it were super watery and had no flavor as well. For the enchiladas I ordered it with Chicken, rice and beans. When I tried the meat it tasted exactly like beef. It was in chunks and not even shredded. The sauce for the enchiladas were horrible no flavor at all and watery. Don’t even get me started on the beans very chunky not smooth at all. The amount of cheese on them was laughable at best. For the rice it lacking a lot of flavor and tasted overcooked.

We got there approximately around 5:00 in the morning and I had to order some food. I got the super fries with carnitas. The meat was dry. The fries just did not work well for some reason and I can't even begin to describe how upsetting it was. I don't know if it's the location or it just happened to be a bad day for them but and service was really bad like she was so mean and kind of rude. I guess if you want to call it that it was just an overall bad experience for us. Maybe we just cut them off on off day. But yeah it wasn't the greatest we've had better. You know could have been the hour that we went. I have no idea if anyone else had a better experience but we didn't not...
