Tacos Unicos — Restaurant in San Bernardino

Its very close to home in the san bernardino/ rialto limit and very accessible as well. They have been at this location for at least 20yrs and maintained so its a go9d thing. I got tacos here back in the 90s lol but cant remember any details. They seem to have their clientele because they were steady cooking n serving while we were there. Im gonna say its a bit pricey for what you get. I had 2 lil ones with me that wanted carne asada fries for sharing. I had a 4 tacos with a medium drink special. I ordered 2 large drinks bcuz the lil ones couldn't agree on one. We were given 1 red salsa(no lid) and 1 fork. Kids asked for a fork and were given something else!! I paid thirty dollars and change. They have a burrito on the menu thats like 15 bucks. I asked if it was super sized but the difference is only cheese i believe. Menu items are appx ten dollars and appx 14/15 with drink! Tacos are medium sized, basic, and ok! They need to step up their asada fries big...

Well Idk about all that being the bestplace ever but the food is good and the service is fair. Just DO NOT ask for a burger with grilled onions. I ordered one one time and it was so disgusting the bottom bun where they put the onions on top of was so greasy that it turn the bun soggy it was inedible, the bun was so greasy that it was dripping oil. They could have at least drain the oil off the onions before putting it on my bun. I was upset because I couldn't take it back and ask for different because it was a to-go order I didn't see it until I was at my house and I didn't want to go back so I didn't eat my lunch/Burger I just ate the fries and...

Ordered #1 which is a 4 Taco platter and med drink. $6.25. I asked for lengua on two which is extra charge (50 cents each). I used my card which they have another 75 cent inconvenience charge. My total was over $8. The lengua was very good. The asada was tender but unseasoned, leaving the salsa to do the work. All in all I enjoyed the tacos.

Bathroom was nice and clean.

I went to get a refill on my soda and that cost me another 50 cents. Making my purchase for the day about $9. Food is good, prices are fine. The extra charges are ridiculous and I do not plan on returning. Inconvenience fees made it an inconvenience...
