I was here in the 1990's, from Bakersfield, CA, U.S.A., although from Moorpark originally. The doughnuts that seemed appealing, it is not easy to remember their names, but I somehow know which ones they probably were. Nothing fancy, just plain and simple, ah, now I remember, they were like large solid baked dunkin' sticks, glazed, I believe the key word they were known as was Buttermilk, not a bear claw, or a fritter.
Although I was not a soda pop drinker, or a boozard, this was the place where I remember hearing about these words, when it came to getting a coffee refill [I was not, nor am I now a coffee drinker]: "Hmm, you got a big cup, $2.75".
Layered hybrid dougnuts are a feasible, pleasable, flavorable patient thought for this place. I hope to see this place again someday, maybe it will be a baby quiet, calm and cool day with good air...
