Ojai Pizza Company, Oak View — Restaurant in San Buenaventura (Ventura)

We are here tonight after my son’s baseball game in OakView. We always visit this location and the Ojai location when in town. This location is better due to the outside seating area’s size for parties. We took the baseball team here. The pizza is always amazing and service is always on par. I am Italian and have to say it is sacrilege to put potato’s on pizza but I have to say their baked potato is pretty insane. All their pizzas as delicious, the salads are great size and the wings really good. We always look forward to Ojai Pizza. I did want to add, there was an issue with our bill, the manager called me back within 20 minutes to make things right and was extremely apologetic. This is why I love small business and prefer them over corporate companies. Thank you Krista for calling me back and really caring.....

Had lunch delivered to my work location this week (12-17-21). My lunch was not good. Had the potato skin pizza and the sour cream that comes with is was bad. Just wasn't as good as normal. Disappointed because I treated my co-workers to lunch. There food was ok, so hopefully it was just that the sour cream had gone bad

Had to eat here again, to be sure I hadn't just hit a good night. I actually ate pizza from here 2 times last week. I can not say enough about how wonderful the pizza is and the chicken wings are outstanding! Service when eating at the restaurant was amazing! Very welcoming and great food and prices are very reasonable. Again the crust of the pizza has such a great flavor, this is a place not to be passed by! Get the potato skin pizza, if you love...

It’s embarrassing how bad the veggie pizza is. This place in no way deserves its current rating. They spare no expense on the amount of toppings which you think would be good but it only compensates for a pizza without any flavor.

This is the water flavored pizza I am referring to. The tomatoes are slimy and undercooked, the zucchini is hard and bland. There is enough mushrooms to start a farm on this slop.

Their pizza cheese lacks salt. There sauce lacks garlic. The pizza feels more like the toppings considering how much they use.

I reserved giving it a 1 star rating only because they as far as I know they mean well.

P.s. I don’t have Covid but this pizza makes you wonder why you can’t...
