Had to pull into the parking lot due to car issues, and me and my grandparents and I were hungry, so we walked in.

The place itself is very nice and clean. The entire family was working together to make sure that the restaurant was running smoothly and the food tasted good. And to be honest, I loved seeing everyone work together as a family as my family runs a small business as well.

Now for the important part, the food! Oh my goodness, it was so good! And the prices were great too!!

We just got sushi and the matcha cheese cake. The fish was fresh, and the sushi was definitely well made!

Spicy salmon roll 7/10 great price! (6.50$) tastes great, wasn't spicy, but it did have a nice little kick to it (only one piece is in the photo LOL)

Mango Crunchy roll 9/10 the mango melts amazingly with the fish and with all the other flavors it's absolutely delicious, one of the best sushi I've ever had !!

Crunchy spicy tuna 8/10 a great basic sushi! Great for anyone who wants to try something new but stay safe with the classic rolls! (In photo)

The tea was...

I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place especially if you're ordering for delivery and you're not at home with soy sauce. Even though you request utensils you will not receive them. I received no soy sauce for a very large sushi order or utensils,I'm currently in a hotel on vacation so I did not have that on hand. Tried contacting a manager to no avail. Plus the sushi is less than mediocre. The Vegas roll is nasty. Especially for $65. 0/10 is my rating,go elsewhere.

It was definitely this location and I ordered on June 7th. I am unable to reply but if you'd like to email me I can show you my receipt. I've ordered from numerous sushi places here in LA Jolla and have always gotten soy sauce even if i didn't "request it" usually common sense you have soy sauce with sushi. I absolutely ordered utensils, there was no request for soy sauce but it seems as though fault is trying to be passed onto me instead of taking...

I am not a sushi fan, but my kid is so based on his feedback this is a great place. My other son had a noodle bowl which looked great! Also a great review on that. As we walked in to the place the greater lacked a bit of costumer service skills and pointed at a table for us to seat at, didn't walk us there nothing just pointed. Which was odd since there is a sign that reads "please wait to be seated". The waitress was nice, but didnt check if we needed a drink refill, no straws... (thats the law now) my teriyaki bowl was over priced and that is part of the reason I am leaving 3 stars. Too small too much white rice not balanced. The 3 stars are for 1.my kid loving this place, 2. My other kid loving this place 3. The waitress was nice to my sons. I will not be returning often. The next time I eat here will be because someone else is paying or my kids really really really want to go eat here and I can't talk...

I have tried the Dragon Roll, the Sashimi, and the seaweed salad. I’ll describe the seaweed salad first. It tasted like I was eating a mouthful of freshly cut grass. I couldn’t taste any of the sesame oil flavor. Next, was the Sashimi (Sake). The texture of the fish was very gummy, but the flavor of the wasabi and soy sauce carried it through. Finally, the Dragon Roll. The texture of the shrimp was nice and crispy. Flavors were popping and delicious. However, the Krab (imitation crab) was subpar. It was disappointing.

I found this lovely mom and pop restaurant on the way to the beach and was not disappointed! The cute and unique decorations and great service created the perfect environment for dinner. I’m visiting town but it seems like there’s a lot of locals that visit regularly. Sushi itself is great quality and the chef gives generous portions! Everything was fresh and made to order. If you’re in town and like sushi, stop by and show some love!
