The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf — Restaurant in San Diego

Came to sip and study. Ordered an iced peach green jasmine tea. Very tasty but also very sweet. Refreshing on a hot summer day. I arrived around 10:30am on a Monday and all the tables were taken. Lots of people studying or meeting for coffee. I sat in a love seat until a table opened up and then I studied comfortably. I really appreciated the clean bathrooms and friendly staff. The parking lot is big but was under construction when I visited. Got pretty hungry by the end of my study session so I ordered a sausage and egg burrito (they serve breakfast all day!). It was just okay because the eggs had quite an interesting texture. Late Yelp Post (11/10/2016): I always come here in the morning before work for my pick-me-up, which is the usual hazelnut late with an add shot and I always order some kind of pastry. They always have something different I can choose from so I don't get boring of having the same thing for a week, and I love that they are seasonal; seasonal drinks and pastries. The pastries are so delicious and warm-they even ask if you'd like it warmed/heated up. The staff are by far always on point, and even on the gloomiest days they are cheerful and hardworking. This is my local Coffee Bean! I can't always say they make thee perfect Carmel Iced Latte with easy easy ice, whip & drizzle! About 80% of the time. But, I can promise you they WILL SERVE YOU WITH A SMILE 99% of the time, remember you, laugh, & be happy! This location has also helped their local UC community more then other coffee places or local businesses & do so happily! They have a very special manager too!!! Mr. M!
