Exploring Logan Heights and in search for tacos. Small restaurant tucked in the middle of a heavy populated Mexican neighborhood drew me in. Small parking lot, empty on the weekdays but very packed on the weekend. Mostly neighborhood locals eating here. I stuck out like a sore thumb. There was a language barrier and I don't speak past elementary Spanish, moreso my level of Spanish is 23yrs rusty of High School Spanish taught by a white person who wished he was Spanish.

"Hola. I'd like to order some tacos porfavor."

The menu was minimal for tacos, no Carnitas tacos. Played it safe and ordered the basic Pollo taco and Carne Asada tacos with everything on it. Everything is compromised of cilantro, onions, and the protein of choice. the tacos came on flour tortillas (love that) but the tacos were average tasting street tacos. The protein didn't have any strong grill taste but I can tell the proteins were fresh. The pollo has a nice seared outside and tender inside - white meat so it was a little bland. The carne asada was tender but felt like it was missing some seasoning... just basic pollo and basic Carne Asada. To add an additional taste, the salsa they make is highly recommended. Although average, it was still good to eat.

So HAPPY I found this place , I had one tlacoyo and one authentic gordita de chicharron prensado they both tasted delicious and the salsas are over the top you absolutely have to come check out this place and try their cacahuate salsa with whatever you eat I promise you wont be disappointed ,the place is not big but they have outdoor seating which is really nice, also small but clean which is A+ to me and to top it all up you would be greeted by Leslye her service is incredible she is extremely attentive , we can't wait...

Fist time I've been here . I dropped off a patient and seen this place and had time to stop in for a carne asada burrito . I'm glad I did the customer service was great ! Friendly people dining inside or out on the covered patio big parking lot so plenty of parking . free refills on the soda fountain . the burrito was good .
