Wet Tacos — Restaurant in San Diego

I've had the pleasure of eating at this place in person and I've eaten their more than once now. I have tried everything from this place and its my favorite Birria place in SD hands down! The beef Biria is Halal which is very rare to find in SD. I have eaten the trio tacos consisting of: the beef birria, Shrimp, and the sirf and turf mix of both meats tacos, I would say this is my favorite on the menu. I've eaten the Birriadilla which is a birra quesadilla. This one is very delicious if you want something easy to eat and very crispy enjoyed especially with the birria sauce. Finally, I've also had the Birria nachos having selected the tostitos salsa flavored chips, great cheat meal and very flavorful! Overall a great experience, the owners are very friendly people and local SD folks, Highly recommend this food stand for mexican food...

I have to admit, I got lost in the sauce.

We first ordered the Halal Birria. It was dripping with sauce, but the shell somehow remained crisp during our feasting. It had a spice level that my daughter could handle but he provided two types of hot sauce that satisfied us. We were stuffed, but I had to order a Torta just to savor the flavor.

The owner was amiable and didn't seem bothered by my questions. I love how he is serving food that is inclusive to some people who might never have the opportunity to eat this type of fare by making it Zabiha Halal.

100% recommend. We're visiting SD from out of town. So glad we found this zabihah halal place. I'm not even a big birria fan but I came for my wife. I guess I never really had good birria tacos before this but wow. The food was out of this world. Mark is amazing at his craft and a wonderful host. My son really liked his motorcycle and he even let him sit on it. Tacos and quesadillas were on point. It's so good that we're gonna visit one more time before our vacation ends

One note: at night the area seems a little sketch if you've never been there, but there is parking inside the space and it's an awesome vibe once you're inside. People popping in and out seemed...
