Logan Heights Library — Attraction in San Diego

I absolutely love this library, I've been going here since they use to be in the old building. Library is always clean, quiet, peaceful. If you have small kids they could go in the children's room and you can shut the door if they're being too loud like I do. Staff is great ALWAYS friendly, they remember faces if your a regular. lousy place . they close the 2nd floor a full 15 minutes before the posted closing time on Google Maps. which is the entire adult section. therefore everyone is herded downstairs to the childrens section, where most of the outlets are sealed up. there were not even any children there (sunday, 4:45pm) 🙄 so it is essentially not useful to anyone, and shows a severe lack of planning on the part...

I take my 2 year-old for Arts & Crafts. I let her do her thing and she creates her own masterpiece. We don't leave before stoping at the Kids Reading Room where she plays with the toys there and picks out a selection of (hard cover) books to take home.
