Fosters Freeze — Restaurant in San Diego

The difficulty stems from youthful and inexperienced staff. They were very nice people, that appear not to appreciate the value of delivering a quality product and quality service. I ordered the new Red Velvet cup. The image (Poster) shows the drink as RED! The item I was served, was beige with a pink tinge. I asked the young man that prepared my order why its not the right color... He replied, "They Always Come Out A Different Color." His tone, manner and body language strongly suggested He was searching for an answer. So I tasted my order. Sure enough, all I could taste was vanilla. I returned my cup to the counter and the young lady took over and remade my drink. It was tasty, but not delicious. Furthermore.... Its customary in hospitality to serve all items at the same time. This dud not happen. My girlfriend ordered a cone and was served several, several minutes before my cup was served. She was able to consume about 60% of her giant cone BEFORE my cup was served. This was an especially disappointing experience...

I went today with my husband and daughter. I found a short blond hair in my mud pie. No big deal, these things happen. They shouldn’t, but its happened to me before so I was not really bent out of shape about it. The problem was the service after. I stood at the counter while several employees walked by and refused to make eye contact. Someone finally asked if I was being helped and I said no. I informed her of the hair I found in my food and she literally rolled her eyes at me. Was I almost finished my dessert, yes! Is that my problem?? NO! She made me a new one without me asking and I actually wanted my money back. She did not apologize for the hair, or the inconvenience. When the ice cream was remade, she slid it on the counter and said, here is your replacement. Still no apology....

This cute diner has a mom and pops feel the second you pull up to park. My brother suggested we grab a bite to eat here after a fun filled day at Aquatica. It was my first visit here and I assure you it won't be the last. The food did not disappoint. The zucchini fries are so yummy! I had the classic burger, all the fixing looked and tasted fresh. We asked for ranch and had to pay a little extra, it wasn't a big deal. Last but not least dessert... so many choices. I finally went for a small triple berry cheesecake, and it was amazing. I will be back for the peach parfait. The service was good considering how busy they were, the portions are a good size too!...
