I came the first time when they just opened, and I had a general, decent-but-not-noteworthy experience (iced matcha latte was good, but sweetener was forgotten. I was in a hurry and couldnāt run back in to ask for it, so thatās on me! Definitely an easily fixable mistake, especially for a brand new coffee shop still training staff). Came back today for the first time since then and had a great experience! I think people expect coffee drinks like lattes and such to be super sweet like they do at Starbucks, but thatās not the case for pretty much all other independent coffee shops. So, donāt go here thinking youāre going to get a super sweet drink! I prefer it not so sweet, and itās perfect for me here! I got their condensed coffee latte (like an iced viet coffee), and the staff were very kind and were able to answer all of my questions with ease, which helped me make my decision on what to order. What a gem in the Sabre Springs neighborhood! James Coffee Co. just opened and it already feels like a local favorite. The space is modern, welcoming, and has that signature James Coffee vibe ā clean lines, cool playlist, and seriously good coffee.
Huge shoutout to Chris and Ruby, who made the experience unforgettable. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely warm ā the kind of baristas who elevate your day with a smile and stellar service. Their customer service was truly top-tier, making the visit feel more like a community connection than a simple coffee run.

I placed a mobile order 30 minutes ahead, expecting a quick pickup. When I arrived, I waited another 10 minutes before realizing my drinks were already made and hidden behind the bar. No one called them out, or even acknowledged me, and they didnāt even write a name on the cupsājust left them sitting there while the store was empty.
It just seemed like the manager was too busy flirting with staff to notice the only person waiting... I genuinely felt like I was bothering them just by being there. Like Iām gen z so I donāt care about professionalism that much, but cāmon we arenāt even trying...
