If I could have rated this with negative stars I would have. Since they have reopened their service is awful and the wait times are atrocious. I visited last evening a little after 8 and had a simple order of 2 cheeseburger meals. There was no cars in the drive thru and I was the only one. Promptly paid and was told to move up. I was given my drinks and asked to move to the next window. I then waited for 15 minutes. Not one employee checked in, came out, etc. nothing. Cars came and went and we were still there. Only when an employ cane out to deliver food to a pre order car was I able to inquire as to what happened. Very matter of fact the guy said he accidentally gave it to someone else. Didn’t state he was sorry, didn’t say they were remaking it, nothing. I pulled around and parked and went inside. I waited at the counter where another guest was. She stated she had been there over 10 minutes waiting for her sundae. They found her sundae already made in the back just sitting there. I asked to see a manager and let the counter employee know what had happened. The manager never appeared. I could hear her say to give her free apple pies for the problem and that she chastised the employee for not checking orders right. I waited another 3-4 minutes. My order was given. No apologies, no manager and one employee was laughing because of the ordeal. I get to the car where it has now been 25 minutes from when I ordered. My received order was still wrong but I knew nothing would change if I went back in. I got 2 apple pies that said they needed to be consumed by 9:00 that evening and was offered nothing else. Read moreHouston we have a problem!!! 8/10 times that I come to any McDonald’s location in the San Diego area with my 6 year old SOMETHING IS MISSING with my order. I am so tired of going back up with my receipt to ask for my complete order. THIS IS YOUR JOB! Once in a while is understandable, but 80% of the time is carelessness. When I go through the drive through and it happens and I get home without my stuff it is as if you have stolen from me. This occurs more often than not and is an obvious training defect. McDonald’s please get your sh&t together!
UPDATE: They've gotten better with making sure everything is on the tray. Thank you for addressing this.
UPDATE 2: I have added a star to McDonald's at this location. I can tell that someone is reading these comments and is making management decisions to address them. I'll raise the score to 4 stars when my food is delivered to the table consistently (as I believe is the standard).
Update 3: The service has improved, but half the time they decide not to take my order to my table. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. Increased review to 3 stars across the board... not great,...
Read morePulled up in the drive through today placed my order was going to pull forward and my car stalled oh no !!! So after a couple of attempts to restart the Manager walked out to my car to see if he could assist me. Anyway not only could he assist me by pushing my car back into a parking space, he then asked if he could take my food order WOW what a thoughtful person. He took my order walked back inside and returned in a flash handed me my food and wouldn't let me pay for it, he said lunch was on him and he hoped I get my car started. WOW again seemingly one of the nicest, thoughtful and pleasant persons I've ever met and I'm 60 years old. This is a priceless employee to say the least. I didn't get his name. I would however like to THANK YOU SIR !!! and I can assure you I'm telling everyone I know so they to can come in and see what a great place this is to eat and do business.Thanks...
