McGuffie's Live — Restaurant in San Diego

Hidden Gem alert! I played here last week with my band "Cherry Road" and was impressed with the whole scene. "Sweet Myths" kicked off the show and I was able to get the full show experience from the audience point of view, as well as from the stage. This is a great hang out especially if you are anywhere near La Mesa, Santee or Mission Gorge.

I didn't even realize it was so close to home, but glad I know about it now. The sound was killer, ligting and atmosphere really nice.

It was clean with ample parking and good vibes. Friendly staff and of course, great music! They host different nights all week including original local bands, karaoke, and cover bands on the weekends.

Pleanty of seating and open space to dance so you can take your pick. They have darts to play and a little area to hang out outside. They're are some good places to eat nearby and its easy access to the freeway.

I highly recommend checking out Navajo Bar if you're into live music and meeting cool people. I don't drink so I can't speak on prices or quality there... but my band seemed to be happy with...

My first time here, I just realized I know of a lot of venues but haven't been to that many. Though I have been in a ton of dive bars all over Cali. McGuffies has its charms and definitely has an awesome staff; every one was sweet and friendly. Which is always welcome. The snobs in Hollywood can't be beat. This place could never replace my old second home, the Turtle; it was nice, though. It was a great show and good to see old friends. Thumbs up for the venue. Thanks for a good night out...

Navajo live is a great venue to listen to rock and roll and all types of music but mostly they feature Rock & Roll. The service is friendly the drinks are always on point. The bathrooms are clean. The atmosphere is nice but could use some sprucing up. All in all Navajo live provides a great musical product. I stop there at least once a month to listen to live music.
