Rolberto's Taco Shop — Restaurant in San Diego

I've been going on and off to this place for 10 years and this last time I ordered something and asked for additional ingredients to be added to the order and they refused to do it. I told them that the price didn't matter for what I wanted. They just gave me a lame excuse and didn't add what I wanted. I've gone to multiple taco shops and asked for the same ingredients to be added and they deliver (with an extra charge, of course.). Nevertheless, the food is still good. Back in 90s and early 2000s, this use to be one of the best if not arguably the best taco shop in East San Diego/City Heights area. I think it has transfered ownership since then as the food and service has not been the same. For example, the carne asada fries and Nachos were exceptional back then. Best ham, egg and cheese I've had in years. A simple thing ham, egg and cheese, but most taco shops manage to mess it up. My son ordered the rolled tacos. He was impressed no lettuce cover up. You know the taco shops that use lettuce to hide the fact that the guacamole is just a little dab, not even on all of the tacos, not here they put guacamole and both cheddar and cotija cheese on all of the rolled tacos.
