i went to a show 2-23-18 with 2 friends, before the headliner i and my friends decided to go smoke a cigarette outside by our friends car which was parked in one of the many parking lots around the venue. when we decided to cross the street and re enter the venue my two friends walk right in then me, last going through the door. then the security guard says, "oh don't have any more to drink," i stop and ask him why? as i'm surely going to be buying a few more once re entering? he replies saying that i had been stumbling walking up to the place (this is just a lie, i was walking with my friends who went right in, yet this guy decided to stop me and basically lay a trap for me, if i was to buy another drink he would have kicked me out, if i questioned him he would kick me out), guess what i asked him why not? and his response was just a pack of lies. i'm writing this the night of, it's only been about an hour since being kicked out, do i sound drunk? am i falling over myself slurring with speech? no, this is and was completely unacceptable from a professional stand point, something like this should not even happen once a day let alone at all. no refund... would an experience like this want anyone...
Read moreIt was the best time I had in a long time! I went with friends to the live band emo karaoke night! The band was great and it was fun to see everyone go up and sing their fav emo songs. Depending on the person tho, might not be your thing.
The Experience: It was a sold out night so it was PACKED, shoulder to shoulder. I'd suggest to wear boots cause people will spill drinks on yah and might get stepped on a few times. Also their wasnt much air flow cause all the people, so it did get pretty hot! Had to step out for air cause at one point I thought I might pass out đ , but it was my first time being that packed in with people. The bar does try to cool it down with the AC tho, it's just hard to keep the room cool. The air was also very thick/humid so might be scary if you are claustrophobic. The music is SUPER loud thankfully they sell earplugs by the bar, so those that hate the loud music can enjoy the night a bit. There are only 2 restrooms so highly suggest limiting how much you drink here to avoid an urgent situation with a long line lol.
Overall, awesome vibes, great lighting, cool staff, cool people, and all together I'd say worth the experience for sure. A super fun and...
Read moreMy friends and I paid and attended a show at this venue recently and had a horrible experience with the manager. We bought vinyl and merch from the band, went back to the car to drop said merch off. The manager/bouncer's car was parked in front of us. He happened to walk to his car as we were leaving ours. He saw what he thought was an open beer can in the car and assumed we were drinking in the car and said we could not go back in the venue (this is before the main act went on.) It's just a shame because we collectively spent $70 on tickets and $70 on merch and didn't get to see the show. We tried explaining that we were just dropping off the merch but he was extremely unkind and told one of us "you're the type of person who's never been told no in their life" He then proceeded to go into the venue and grab another one of our party members and kick them out because âguilty by associationâ . He was beyond reason and completely unprofessional and beyond normal logic and reason when being spoken to. I would not recommend this venue. I hope they see this and are more respectful and considerate of paying customers in the future. We love live music! Keep the...
