Joe identified as the owner. I placed the order online at 10am. Unbeknownst to me the store did not open until 11 I waited outside for 20 minutes while the owner cleaned the windows and stared at me through the glass. There is no sign posted with the hours anywhere but waiting it was fine to me so I did. When Joe opened the store he didn't invite me and slammed the door in front of me which struck me as unfriendly to say the least. I had to ask him if the store was open and instead of responding directly to me, he faced his back and yelled at an employee asking to turn the light loudly saying "Turn the light on, we are open now". When I attempted to pay with a synergy gift card he appeared to be very irritated about it and told me "we don't take any gift cards in here". Seeing the radical behavior and intolerant attitude from Joe I decided it would be safer to decline the order and walk away. At that point Joe escalated the situation by responding in a very threatening demeanor " what, you are not going to pay for the order now? The order is ready, sir". I had to ask Joe for his name and I ask him to slow down and watch his demeanor to which he answered:"I am the owner here". Long story short, I walked away and I will never return to this place ever again. Hopefully I will hear back from the corporate office, otherwise, I am not returning to any round table pizza place ever.

Yo! I haven’t had roundtable in at least 20 years. I was in the area and searched for the highest rated place and this was it, it did not disappoint! Very nostalgic to me, from the salad bar to the little arcade. This place is ran really well. Everything was clean and everyone had a role. I was about 20 mins out and ordered for pick up. They had it ready for me when I got there. The pizza was everything I remember. Thanks again!

University City love’s Round Table Pizza. First, they make great Pizza. (Delicious) Secondly; they support community organizations by allowing “meet-up” within their facility. Round Table Pizza in University City, CA represents the best of “UC”. Great Pizza and friendly staff, great combo.

i’d say the food itself is pretty good. it’s a chain so once you been to one, you know what type of pizza you can expect.

Maybe it was my first experience here at this branch, but it seems a bit of a chaos when you first enter. you have people congregating, ordering, kids using the quarter machine etc all up front and you have figure out who’s actually in line.

my main issue visiting here was the lack of customer care for to-go orders. when you get to the register and get your receipt, but your pizza is not ready, you’re sorta hanging out with the rest of the crowd standing there since there’s no real good place to stand.

You would think because it’s crowded, the people working would get you your pizza as soon as it comes out of the oven to get you going, but no. they all seemed to be all running around, but doesn’t seem to be doing much while your pizza is sitting there getting cold.

I strongly recommend once to-go orders are out, have a rep standing there calling customers out so they can get the heck out of there. There’s no real reason to give you an estimated time “ready” when your food is sitting there with no one to take care of because all the workers are Sooo...

I am shocked that anyone would use the word great when describing this pizza, when I went in to pick up a large 1/2 cheese 1/2 veggie and was told the price was 29.60 I nearly fell over I asked are you sure the price is correct and I was told yup and its the best pizza you ever had. Now the kid behind the counter did not know I was from Chicago the home the the best pizza (and yes better then New York) so I tolf him for that price it better be, but I was very disappointed I thought I was eating Pizza hut pizza only it was 3 times the price. I have no problem paying for good food BUT COME ON this pizza was sub par, not even close to the top ten in San Diego let alone the best pizza I will ever have. Do yourself a favor try any of the following pizza joints if you want good pizza Lefty's - Berckeley's, Pizzeria Luigi's or the following Filippi's PB, Little Italy, Mira Mesa or Friars rd, If I had to I would eat Pizza hut, Dominos, or Little Caesars before eating...
