Starbucks — Restaurant in San Diego

Update Mar 09 2024 - staff has changed and looks disappointed as per my last few visits. I visited today and the lady who took my order didn't ask for sugar, creamery, questions, no greetings unlike other times and just filled my cup and slammed on the table. I wish they can go back.

I go to this Starbucks once in a week and have always been impressed by the exceptional service I receive there. The employees are always smiling, friendly and happy to help with any requests. They go above and beyond to make sure that each customer feels welcome and appreciated.

One of the things I appreciate most about Starbucks is the consistency of the coffee. Every time I order a brewed coffee, it is always made to perfection and just the way I like it. The employee who made my coffee last time was no exception, they had a huge smile on their face and took pride in their work, which is reflected in the great coffee I received.

Fast wifi but Starbucks coffee is kinda burnt usually, including at this location. There’s parking though and it’s a big place where you an sit down and visit with friends or just people watch outside. You can also get a cup of coffee and head to Sprouts to get some groceries sucking on a burnt coffee while you squeeze the Charmin. It’s the little things.

There are a number of other businesses around where you can grab your caffeine and head over to shop. There’s even a day spa and a sushi place. Or a little miscellaneous store. Or you can go to the liquor store and get something to spike your drink (which is frowned upon but I feel like people probably do it anyways.

This Starbucks is Amazing! Not only are the baristas nice, but so is Lana; one of the awesome manager's! They also go out of their way & give back to our UC. School's & our UC. Community as a whole! Lana & her team help every few months by donating coffee to EdUCate!- Which is then given to our Teacher's & Staff through out our UC Public school's... Thank You Miss Lana Hernandez & the rest of your amazing Team!

Kayla the barista @ this location made the most amazing flower on top of my carmel cloud !!! Amazing! She did it with the drizzle! SOoOoo amazing to take her time out of her busy day to go above & beyond! She really made an impact. Other customers couldn't believe it & was amazed! Thank's Kayla
