My family and I have been boba drinkers for a quite some time. Throughout the years, we've probably visited the majority of the boba establishments in Southern California. We were excited to find that another Sharetea had opened up, close to home, in the Mira Mesa area, in San Diego, nearby the Manila Sunset, in early December 2017.

We've visited this place during the pre-grand opening, one evening and since that our favorite fruit drink, is mango, we tried the mango green milk tea, with pudding, regular boba, zero sweet and less ice. Only one option for the cup size, and to put in perspective, my guess it's about a little more than the venti of Starbucks. Although the staff gave us all four drinks as free, at that time, I can honestly say that this is one the best bobas we've had for years. The mango syrup marmalade is flavorful, matched with a soft texture of the milk and regular-sized boba, the right amount of sweetness and temperature; has us hooked.

I've been visiting this place ever since and mostly on the weekends with my wife and kids. We order the same drink every time. Although the line can be very long in the late afternoons on Saturdays, the staff is quick in receiving our orders and the drinks are ready in about less than 10 minutes. The customer service is great and the staff is courteous and they always have a smile. We also like the Clover app to where we can accumulate a star for each order and obtain a free drink of regular milk tea or a discounted price of any other drinks...

We often stop by this place because of convenience when our son wants a boba drink. Yesterday, we ordered two drinks- Taro Ice blended with boba and Okinawa Milk Tea. Okinawa milk tea because it was a drink of the month($5.00). I realized I was overcharged, so I pointed that out to the worker. So they made the correct drink but didn't know how to refund. She told me, "I am sorry. I don't know how to do that, but I can give my manager's phone number so you can call." I mean, really? Why does a customer need to call the manager to figure out the refund on your behalf to correct the mistake you made? Absolutely incompetent. Whoever owns this business needs to train the workers properly. The guy who took my order didn't even apologize and left the girl to figure this out. He quickly hid behind the store and took the wrongly made drink with him. If the same situation happens in Starbucks, they will not only know how to refund but also give the wrongly made drinks too. I just left with disbelief of the level of service here. I didn't want to waster my time further, so I just left. The overcharged amount does not match my effort to call and explain the situation to the manager. To be honest, I didn't want to even come here to post this, but as I drove home, I started to get angry of this situation more. I will not be taking my family there anymore. There are so many other...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. PLENTY OF OTHER BOBA TEA CHOICES IN/AROUND MIRA MESA. I walked in on a Friday afternoon. I expected a short line inside due to wide open parking. I walked in on a Minecraft convention. Several of the teenage boys were blocking the line while I was waiting and the staff working the counter had no issue with it. Service was very slow and I waited about 15 min to place my order. I was standing in line with what look like a grandmother and grandchild. When it was my turn, I ordered three drinks to go. I waited 10 about 10 minutes and saw the grandmother walk away with two drinks when their number was called. A minute later, my number was called and I noticed two of the drinks they tried to give me were not mine. After an awkward minute, the cashier ran out the door, came back with one of my drinks. I heard the cashier and another employee discuss if they should charge the grandma for the drink they mistakenly gave her. They asked me what my drink was - no apology - while I helped a gentleman identify another customer’s drink that the cashier just left on the counter. This place’s service was slow (I was here a total of almost 40 minutes), they gave away MY order, gave me back a product that someone else touched, and did not apologize. Don’t let this be you. Please save your time and money - I recommend any other place but this one for...

For such a small place they blast the music really, really loud. It's a little perplexing to me because it's too loud for studying and it's too loud to socialize with friends. I was there to play some board games with friends (Catan) and we had to shout to each other the whole time. It's so loud that no one can hear their order number being called so they all wait by the counter for their drinks. Menu was fine and what I expected for a boba place. I ordered a milk and boba and it was pretty good. I ordered it with the least amount of added sugar possible (30%) and it was still pretty darn sweet. So I'm glad I didn't order the full sweetness. Also they charge an extra 50 cents for card if you spend less than $10.
