I feel like I am frozen in time. It's 1995. But somehow there is wi-fi. Slow wi-fi, but free. My forearms are semi-stuck to the sticky table surface. Each time my calves touch the legs of the chair, again, that sticky feeling. I've been here for 30 minutes and a grand total of one customer has entered. Wait, there's another. No, wait, he just came in to throw some trash away. He left without ordering. While it fortunately does not stink in here, the decor truly stinks. I admire their desire to keep it homey-feeling, but c'mon. It's seriously like grandma remodeled her house -- 20 years ago. Teal and mauve, with gold trim and carpet. Wallpaper. Maroon accents. But I am not sure decor will bring in more customers. It's 4:30 p.m. and there are literally two human beings here beyond the staff: me and a lady in her late 40s. Because of the lack of customers, and the super low volume overhead 90s soft rock, what I hear the most is the really LOUD refrigerator in the kitchen, and a beeping that I presume is a burger heater. Oh, there's a customer. Nope, sorry. He works here. He just came in from a smoke break and he's flirting with the girl at the register. None of this writing is in fun or jest or joking. This is exactly what I am witnessing and frankly it's really depressing and sad. I genuinely feel bad for Wendy's. Another customer? No, that guy works here, too. He's got his motorcycle helmet. I assume he just arrived for the onslaught of customers at 5 p.m.? Anyhow, back to feeling bad. Used to be that Wendy's was one of the big three: McD's, BK, and Wendy's.    Read moreI can not begin to express how terrible the service is here. I simply wanted to order jr French fries, a grilled chicken sandwich and a watered down pink Lemonade. First of all the guy who was taking orders was awkward and could not understand me, I was speaking clearly. He got my order wrong 3 times. Then he canceled it even. He was putting in the combo for me but he said he could not make my fries jr. I told him to charge me a small or even extra but give me the jr ones because of my calorie intake. He kept saying he could not do that. Even have me attitude saying âwellll.... if you want me to charge you more than okay...â Whatever I told him to give me small and he places medium in the order for some reason. I went up to the window and this lady handed me my food. She asked âwant some condiments?â I said ranch. I left out and I realized 1.) I did not have ranch although she asked me 2.) I did not have my fries they charged me for. I had to get out my car and go inside and tell the guy to just give me some jr fries. He was snobby and gave me some âfree SMALL fries.â Great. Letâs not mentioned that the grilled chicken sandwich has a great honey mustard sauce spread in the bun, instead when I opened my burger it had some orange I guess, carrot spread.
