In response to the owners response to my post: Please ask your staff, I called and specifically asked to speak to the manager and was told you were busy! I specifically asked the female that answered the phone to please replace the entire order because the person returning the burger rushed out of the house to get my order corrected. I knew that his burger and french fries would be cold and unappetizing by the time he returned home. The employee at the counter and even the cook came and apologized for the mistake. The person that did the return said someone, whom he could only assume was the manager, told him that they wouldnot replace the entire order because he didn't bring the entire order back. Please ask your staff. We have been patronizing Kosmos since we moved to La Verne in the late 80's. That is why we were so disappointed by the way one of your staff handled the situation.
Went through drive thru - one burger was specifically ordered dry - no sauce/pickle. At pick up window, inquired that burger was dry. Get home, burger has the mayo/pickle sauce on it. Immediately call and ask to speak to manager, but am told manager is busy. Employee who answered was very nice and polite. Asked that entire order be replaced so that one of us doesn't have to eat a cold burger & fries. Cook was very nice and apologized for mistake. Manager is the reason for the bad review - he refused to give us a new order because we only brought back the burger with the sauce. Too bad we ran out the door to return it so quickly without grabbing everything. Told the manager we've been long time customers and he didn't care. Can't support a business that doesn't make the order right, I have to to return to the restaurant, and then the manager doesn't care. Too many other burger places...
Read moreCalled in an order yesterday so I wouldn't have to wait in the long lines in the drive through. They said it would be ready in fifteen minutes. I pulled up ten minutes after placing my order, only to have the extremely rude "manager" (she swore she was the manager) lock the doors on me as I pulled in. Five minutes early. I called. It took calling twice to get them to answer the phone. She finally answered and informed me I need to go through the drive through. My response "no ma'am. I called in my order to avoid the line in the drive through and I was never told you'd be locking the doors. It's 600 on a Friday night!" She told me to come back to the door (mind you, I'm disabled and walking is painful. I've already walked up there once, stood for five minutes and gave up when she glared at me through the door. )
So. I wrnt back up. Waited another five minutes and she still hadn't came to the door. I decided at that point this business didn't need my money. I walked away, climbed into my car and drove off. She never opened the door until I was already back on foothill.

Read moreBEWARE: SOME OF THEM WAY OVERCHARGE! And most of the staff are rude and not very nice. But SOMETIMES the food is good and they sell breakfast all day so we have been here a few times. Yesterday our food was delicious, nice woman helped us and it was reasonably priced. Today we ordered the SAME thing. I was charged almost $5 more than yesterday. Part of my order was wrong. The eggs tasted disgusting and the pancakes tasted like they were cooked on top of 10 other foods. The burger was super sloppy, chicken strips were over cooked and fries under cooked. The food was all perfect yesterday. It has to be a different cook and wish I knew what cook was there today and when they work because I would NEVER visit there when they are working again. This has happened several times where the food almost tastes like a completely different place it tastes so different. I only gave it 2 stars because when the food is good, it's good but it is definitely hit and miss. We will be going to another all day breakfast burger place...
