I recently visited with high hopes of enjoying a delicious bubble tea experience, but sadly, it left a lot to be desired. My visit to this establishment was nothing short of disappointing.
To begin with, the overall ambiance of the shop was lackluster and uninviting. No seating area, making it difficult to relax and enjoy my drink. All they have is an empty open area which was very odd.
Moving on to the main attraction, the bubble tea itself was far from satisfying. The drink lacked tea flavor, tasting watered down and bland. The boba was hard to texture with no sweetness. It seemed like it wasn't cooked properly.
Furthermore, the menu options were limited, leaving little room for customization or experimentation. And there were only two freeze drinks which couldn't be customized in any way, It was a bummer!
Additionally, the service was subpar at best. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, failing to provide any guidance or recommendations when asked. Some staff either only speak English or are horrible at English. Me and my friends had to ask whether we could place an order at the counter they couldn't answer us right away and had to ask some other staff...then someone who was making drinks had to wipe their hands on their shirt to come take our order...it seemed like they didn't have a cashier at that moment. Then the long wait times for my order to be prepared only added to my growing frustration.
All in all, my experience was highly disappointing. I cannot recommend this shop to any bubble tea enthusiasts, as there are far better options available...
Read moreI had the misfortune of visiting a little tea recently, and let me tell you, it was a complete disaster from start to finish. I can not stress enough how disappointing and frustrating this experience was, and I strongly advise you to steer clear of this boba shop if you value your taste buds and sanity.
First off, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed completely disinterested and unmotivated, exuding a level of apathy that I have rarely seen in the service industry. There was absolutely no effort made to make customers feel welcome or acknowledged. It felt as though I was burdening them with my presence, which is the last thing you want to experience when you're looking to enjoy a relaxing boba outing. On top of that, none of the staff spoke English, which made it very hard for me to order and understand them.
Moving on to the actual boba itself, I must say it was an utter disappointment. The quality of the drinks was far below average. The flavors were bland, lacking any depth or richness. It felt like they simply took a generic powder mix and dumped it into the drinks without any care or consideration. And don't even get me started on the pearls! They were hard and chewy, closer to pebbles than the soft and gooey texture one...
Read moreNestled in the heart of San Gabriel, ALittle Tea is a relatively new boba spot that has quickly gained a reputation for its delightful offerings. What sets this place apart for me is the frosted milk tea, which has become a personal favorite of mine.
One of the most remarkable aspects of ALittle Tea is the price point. In an era where boba shops sometimes charge exorbitant prices upwards of $8 for a drink, this place takes a refreshing approach by offering their drinks for just $4. This affordability undoubtedly plays a significant role in making ALittle Tea a popular spot, attracting families and large groups who appreciate quality without breaking the bank.
While the drinks are made with non-premade ingredients, the only downside is the wait time, which can be longer compared to places that use pre-made mixtures. However, this slight inconvenience is more than justified by the freshness and taste...
