WUSHILAND BOBA - SG — Restaurant in San Gabriel

Would love to taste & rate their drinks but after waiting an hour for our online order, we gave up. Seeing the long line, we decided to order online instead. After a while we went up to the pick up counter to see how orders were progressing. That's when we found out what a mess things were. Orders were not being fulfilled in the order they were received. The person starting the drink would put the cups on a table to be filled with tea. The problem is there's no order to the cups. They're randomly placed and randomly picked up to be filled. That became an obvious issue when orders could not be completed because they were missing 1 or 2 drinks. This also meant that some orders that were placed later were filled first. We noticed some people who were in line after we placed our order received their drinks first. This was pointed out to the staff and they insisted orders were being fulfilled as they were placed. Eventually after waiting an hour, we decided to cut out losses and cancel our order. We asked the person giving out drinks if we can cancel. She told us to ask the cashier. We asked the cashier, and she said it's the person giving out drinks that can do it, that she's the senior staff member. When we tried to go back to ask the senior staff, she left her station to go full drinks in the back, away from all the customers. She made another staff member hand out drinks instead. We asked again to cancel our order and was told they don't know how to cancel when we asked again she said they didn't have time to cancel. We will be taking this up with our credit card to get our money back. Needless to say they need a better manager. A good manager would've identified the problem and found a solution to get them...

Wushiland Boba in SGV is one of the best sleek Taiwanese cafe serving bubble and milk tea drinks. It's located on a huge plaza on S. Del Mar avenue. They have a plethora of milk teas and fruit drink on the menu. For first time customers it might be overwhelming so they created a top 10 list of milk teas. I chose their fifth popular tea-Grapefruit/Orange Green Tea + boba. I loved it. I like that it's freshness and flavor. Furthermore, there were significant grapefruit pulps and black pearl boba. Prices were fair and competitive. Interior atmosphere was chill and relaxing however they need better air vent circulation because the temp was warm and stuffy air. Staff were nice, competent and professional. Interior decor was cool and modern from light fixture to table to chairs. Free WiFi available. No outdoor patio available. Parking won't be a problem. Today, I was waiting to pick up an order and this short asian lady with dyed hair and fake lashes and I think wearing a hoodie of some sort (probably a teen or in her 20s) was so rude to me at the counter when I was patiently waiting for her to help me. She gave me the nastiest attitude when all I did was wait for her to finish flirting with her coworkers. Her customer service was terrible and it was not the first time me and my friends dealt with her nasty attitude. I also noticed that she was rude to many other customers before me. I hope losing 3 loyal customers (and potentially more) is worth keeping that employee.
