Church's Chicken — Restaurant in San Germán

No acostumbro comer en Church's. Decidí pasar por la ventanilla (servi-carro) ya que se me antojaban los "corn nuggets" que vi por TV. No sé si el comercial fue lo suficientemente claro ó no. El asunto es que yo quedé decepcionado. Pensé que me iban a dar unos nuggets de pollo, apanados con maiz. Pero, lo que me dieron fueron "nuggets" hechos de granos de maiz entero, apanados como nuggets regulares... El sabor no es nada espectacular ni grandioso. ¡Ya no regresaré a Church's!

I don't usually eat at Church's. I decided to go through the window (drive-thru) service, since I was craving the "corn nuggets" that I saw on TV. I don't know if the commercial was clear enough or not. The point is, that I was disappointed. I thought they were going to serve me some chicken nuggets, breaded with corn. But, what they gave me were "nuggets" made from whole kernel corn, breaded like regular nuggets... The taste is nothing spectacular or great. I won't be going back to...

What makes CHURCH’S CHICKEN so special and unique in comparison with others?:

Great customer service. Food was amazing. Free parking lots right on front of the facility. Actually this Church’s was pretty quick to serve, I was shocked how fast was so for their crew today Tuesday December 19th 2023 I give them A+. Friendly service and they are always happy to serve. Nice environment. Cozy place. Perfect place for everyone. Wheelchair access… With some help it can be available.

The store as all others I visited on the island a well-run and managed. The food is consistently fresh and the service is prompt.

This is by far the best are all the fast food chicken chains. With a flavorful hint of lime fresh sides such as their whole corn on the cob and honey biscuits are to die for.

This compared with places like Kentucky fried Chicken which is notoriously slow and can have slimy texture under the crust due to its pressure cooking process.

Popeyes which has heat lamp stressed food causing dried out light or dark meat. The coating dominates the chicken (find it if you can) so much as you will not need bread; Ever...

By far the worst is pollo tropical coating-less chicken there is, consistently over cooked, undersized and served with inefficient behind the counter buffet style substandard sides.

The only other alternative for me, is Pinchos on the side of the road what a piece of lard bread bread and a kola champagne or Malta.

La tienda, como todas las demás que visité en la isla, está bien gestionada y gestionada. La comida es siempre fresca y el servicio es rápido.
