Wow what a gem! I love their mission and my lunch box truly truly was affordable, nutritious and delicious.
The reason for the three stars is that 1) they forgot my dark chocolate cashew pudding, and I’m so glad I checked before I left. I ran back and picked up the pudding, and that took a while. It was great and I loved the texture, ingredients and creativity in this dessert. 2) My box didn’t come with my name written on top, wondering if that is just for the select few. And 3) I don’t know how everyone received their food so nicely packed and filled to the rim. Mine came with the sauce on the outside, and it was all mixed up. Visually, I received a box that had food filled half way, with food mixed all over the box. It didn’t look like those nice pictures on the review. And that was disappointing. I checked right after I got it too so it was not transported elsewhere.
But I’m hungry, and I wanted to give it a try. I loved every bite, nice serving of veggies, with maybe like 3 oz of shoulder meat. It was well made. I loved the addition of pickles, cucumber, and cauliflower rice mix with a little bit of crunch from the sunflower seeds. Sunflower seeds tasted bit stale.
Green Smoothie was great too.
I don’t know why my box was served in such condition.

Read moreHonestly a kind of weird experience. Ended up getting the chicken and pork mixed bowls, with a side of the chickpea/potato mix.
Starting with the good, the pork and chickpea/potatoes were indeed tender and pretty tasty. I also liked that it was a healthy and cheap option when it came to fast food and they actually used paper packaging, so I respect all that.
However, onto the bad. Both bowls did not have all of the veggies listed (missing carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower), and looked like they were thrown together with the littlest effort possible. Clearly nothing like the photos they have online. The lettuce they used looked straight out of a pre-bagged mix buried in the back of your fridge. The sauces that came with the bowls (chipotle and balsamic) were both alright at best. Though, neither tasted like what their names suggested. The chicken honestly looked like it came out of a can. (Questioned what I was eating a couple times) The potato/chickpea mix was also kinda bleh looking.
Overall, I didn't dislike it, just disappointed with it all. It tasted fine and for the price it's not awful. It just seemed like from the reviews it was going to be something more than it ever could be. I'm also suspicious that many reviews on both Google and Yelp might be fake, but I'll give it the benefit...
Read moreThey expect you to be omniscient. The employees don't explain anything to you. You have to come read their minds.
They didn't tell me that my drink was in my order that was sealed. I asked for help, and the employee saw him, and he totally ignored me.
I was loud. They could definitely hear me in the kitchen, but ALL unanimously decided to ignore everyone because they could. I get it. The store is designed for no human contact. Some employees are not social at all and possibly anti-social and introverts. But that's not a good excuse for ignoring people.
Forget about empathy for the customer. Everything is digital. You scan your screen, and the locker opens with your food. They don't want to help you. Forget about being kind. It's all about turning into a robot with total apathy instead of empathy.
I really do NOT want to come here again.
They get 5 stars because I can empathize with the introvert employees. They're the ones that need to empathize with us ambiverts and extroverts, though.
