Food is great, don't get me wrong. The reason why I give it 4 stars is the girl that helped us was very robotic, no eye contact, rude and had an attitude. I gladly spent $60+ dollars for our order. When asked for form of payment I said I'd Zelle her. She said ok and asked me to Zelle the number posted on the truck. No problem on my end. I waited to get my receipt so I could Zelle the money. She was busy setting up drinks then rudely asked, "Did you send the Zelle yet? Next in line!" I responded, "Can you give me my receipt" and she just repeated how much I owed. Like, c'mon guide the customer. Be friendly. Say, "Your total is xyz, go ahead and send the Zelle and I'll give you your receipt and drinks." With a smile. She wouldn't even give much eye contact. Felt like airport service lol. Idk why it's so hard to get friendly service now a days. Even my two little girls asked me why she was so rude. The guy who gave us the food at the end was extremely nice, confirmed my order and made sure we had everything we needed. He...
Read moreThis is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that makes the food right. The atmosphere is very casual and a little jank which is how you know it's going to be good.
They take Cash or Venmo.
I can only talk about the Birria Tacos and Consume as that's what I always get. They are incredible. Get two or three Birria Tacos, a side of Consume and ask for your favorite sauce. (I like the orange the best.)
Get a table or take them all the way home because these are not car food. The tables have big spindles of paper towels because they know what's going to happen.
Maybe it's possible to eat these all calm and polite but it's not the fun way. Try slathering on the sauce, dipping the tacos into the consume, and devouring them in a hedonistic frenzy. That's what feels right in my soul. Best shared with a friend that's getting them for the first time so you can see their eyes light up on...
Read moreJust before playing some volleyball with my volleyball friends, we wanted to grab a meal together for some bonding time. Following my friend’s recommendation we ended up at Neza Birrieria. Anyways, we ordered our food, including two birria tacos and quesadillas with the consomme. Everything was awesome. Nice bold flavors and rich broth were perfect. However, birria always has its drawbacks. It is always a bit too rich and salty to eat often, so maybe in a year, I will be back for some more food when I crave birria again. However, in a year, this is definitely the place...
