Bravo! House of Enchiladas — Restaurant in San Jose

I would have never found this tiny gem had my friend not recommended the place. This tiny hole in the wall has great food. There is a reason they are known for their enchilada sauce.... It's DELICIOUS!!! If you are looking to buy a meal to serve a group of people, i definitely recommend their enchilada platters. It comes with a huuuuuuggggeee tray of enchiladas, ride, beans and a 2-liter for a great price (if i remember correctly it was under $50). The staff is so friendly. The owner is awesome and works along side the rest of the staff. If you don't like small spaces or having to fight for parking, you can always call in advance and order it to go. This place overall gets three stars because although their enchiladas were pretty good as well as potatoes their fry chicken is a huge disappointment., considering the plate was $13.00 for 3 enchiladas, potatoes and chicken. So basically I paid $13 for 3 enchiladas and a few potatoes which is honestly insulting as a michocano. This was our first experience, but it won't be our last! We both got the Carde Asade super burrito. It was loaded with meat! There was also rice, cheese , pico de Gallo and wonderful flavors without being overly spicy. We took ours to go and they gave us two small containers with salsa Verde, and red salsa. The salsa Verde had just a little heat but, was very tasty. I would recommend them very highly. The burritos were a very good size as well. We almost couldn't finish them.
