I have never, ever stayed in such a horrific hotel in all my life. I checked in to the hotel on 5/25/17 and checked out on 5/28/17. I was in room 112. I had nowhere else to go, so I was forced to endure the worst lodging experience ever. Upon my arrival and check in, the room AC was not working. There was a maintenance person on premises and he quickly got it working. I thought, ok - bumpy start, but at least it's fixed. Unfortunately, the repair was to make the AC work 100% of the time, or not at all. So you either had to live the igloo lifestyle or the sweat lodge lifestyle. Again, I can deal with this. The next morning, I discovered that the commode in my room would only flush if you tried it like 6 times just to get it to flush once. Whatever. At least it was flushing. The other thing I discovered Friday morning was that after the guest upstairs takes a shower, the bathroom in my room has a flood on the floor. When I went to the office to report the trouble, the manager, Nick, offered to give me another room. I said that would be fine. He then said the room wouldn't be ready for a while. I suggested he give me the key as we were leaving right then for the day. I could transfer rooms that evening and return the key to #112. He refused, saying he had to re-rent #112. I asked him how he could re-rent the room if it has a non-working toilet and a leak from upstairs? He said he was going to have those things fixed today. I said fine, then let me stay in the room and fix the things. He said he could not guarantee that he could fix them. Do you see the runaround here? I ended up leaving for the day on his promise that they would fix the issues while we were gone that day. Unfortunately, that was not in the cards. I returned to the room that evening only to find a continuation of the flushing problem. The next morning, imagine my surprise when I woke AGAIN to a flooded bathroom. Wait, it gets better. Instead of a toilet that took 6 times each time to get a good flush, now the toilet won't flush AT ALL. OMG. I called the office and the female clerk came right away to check the toilet (apparently I can't be trusted to determine that a toilet doesn't flush). She said she would call for someone to fix it. Lo and behold, who shows up? The clerk from the day before who talked in circles! So, he putters around with the toilet for a bit and supposedly fixes it. I left my friend in the room while I ran to the store. She told the clerk that she expected a partial refund for all the trouble. He told her he would need to "talk to the manager." I should note here, this was a lie. When we checked out on Sunday, we asked for the manager's name after we were offered a measly $50 credit on the total bill. That room alone was $500 for the 3 nights! When I called today to speak to the manager, Nick Navin, guess who I was connected with??? Yep, the clerk! So, either he lied and he is not the manager, or he lied about having to talk to the manager about a discount. Another lie? When we checked in, we were told these were renovated rooms with brand new mattresses. Whoa! You ought to see the stains on the mattress in #112. I didn't have the nerve to look until I was packed and headed to the airport, but to say it was NASTY doesn't quite cover it. I have photos in case anyone wants to doubt this. So the moral to the story here is, once you check in, your money is history and you'll be lucky to have a working commode. What a...
Read moreI am only giving 1 star to leave a review. DO NOT STAY HERE! DO NOT GIVE THESE TYPES OF PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS! These are the type of hotel owners that a ruining lower priced hotels! This place may have a new coat of paint but it is dirty and cheap! First problem is the night man. He was rude and lied to me about the price of the room. Room is listed online for around $110. First he tells us room rate and tax will be $149. Further down in conversation he tells us $159. When he hands me the bill it’s $169. His demeanor is absolutely wrong for customer service. I am not a criminal or thief, I am traveling on business just trying to get some sleep and a shower. He treated us rudely and like he was doing us some kind of favor by letting us stay. A person in party asked him if there was somewhere he could find antacids and the desk guy accused him of looking for drugs. It’s heartburn medicine buddy, a lot of low end motels sell these types of things to accommodate their customers. I asked for a late check out and he rudely stated they do not have maid staff after noon so no late check outs. Meaning if check out is at 11, the maids are cleaning an entire hotel in 1 hour. YOUR ROOM IS NOT GETTING THOROUGHLY CLEANED!!! He already had my cash and again, rudely asked “What do you want to do? What do you want to do?” I’m at a motel trying to check in at 2:30 am, I’m trying to go to sleep not pack up and leave. There are defiantly ways of telling people no without being completely irrational and rude. Then we get into the room. The toilet doesn’t flush well, room is newish, but defiantly not clean. Sheets and towels were ok but you can clearly tell they do not have time to clean walls and baseboards, what else do they skip? The thermostat on the wall is connected to nothing. Heater was unplugged from the wall. When plugged in we discovered it was on a motion sensor. So while you a lying still sleeping the heater turns off! THESE PEOPLE ARE RIPPING OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO COLLECT AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY CAN!...
Read moreThis place is bad vibes and is horribly run! After checking in I noticed strange hispanic men wandering in the parking lot looking in vehicles… that had me on edge … there was a man following behind me and seen what room I had went into so I felt extremely unsafe as I am a woman traveling alone. Fast forward. I get inside. The room looked absolutely nothing like the photos, complete false advertisement! I flicked the light on the wall and it didn’t work (red flag but wasn’t a big deal), but THEN I noticed the headboard lights on both sides of the bed also didn’t work. This is when I started to look around and noticed the bathroom door literally off the hinges! The wall had splatter of some sort of substance, looked like it could’ve been blood. Walls were filthy and not nearly as white as advertised. Bathroom tub was peeling badly. The mirror had drip marks from top to bottom like someone had literally sprayed it and let it dry before I came. Even the bed had stain marks on it. Cable box had graffiti on it. Carpet had deep dark stains. I expressed these concerns with the front desk and requested to change rooms in hopes of getting a better one but was not accommodated. I decided to check out as I was highly dissatisfied…. Now that I am requesting a full refund for the 2 nights I am being accused of using the toilet, a towel, and leaving the bathroom floor wet. I did NONE of those things. Highly unprofessional of them to give me such a disgusting room then accuse me for simply wanting a refund! This is by far the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. They had no problem taking my money and was very kind at first. I’m honestly shocked that this is the way I was treated in the end. I will be...
