What a gem! So affordable as well. My sis and I had a cappuccino, a latte paired with a pastel de nata and biscuit. The pastel de nata was so-so but the hard circular biscuit was delish, sweet yet still tasty. This is a place where customers are not in their phones or laptops with earphones. People actually gather, talk and enjoy each other’s company. You almost feel like you’re gatecrashing a family party. They all seem to speak Portuguese, but we enjoyed the vibe and the barista were more than happy to serve us. We didn’t feel like we weren’t welcome at all. He even offered to just let us pay next time we come back because my sister who arrived first didn’t have cash nor Venmo. Truly one of the few remaining pure cafes around. Very clean and...

Love this local coffee spot. The owner is super nice and welcoming. It seems like a community center where everyone knows each other, greets warmly, and even offers to share seats. We enjoyed a cappuccino and a latte (they offer soy/almond milk for substitute), we appreciate so much with the owner’s sweet treat! The relaxed atmosphere here feels so European, instantly bringing us back to Portugal and sparking that nostalgic feeling. Great spot to chill with excellent coffee and some food. Definitely coming back.

Cash or Venmo only. Free parking right next...

I read a review in The Metro and wanted to visit. We went on a Sunday morning right before closing at Noon.

The staff was very friendly and offered us a free custard tarts as they we're closing up. Loved that they were so generous and didn't waste the awesome treats.

We had two lattes, a sweetened iced latte, and a prosciutto and cheese sandwich. Everything was very good.

It's clearly a local fixture in the community and deserves a visit.

Small but perfect menu, great prices, high quality...

Love this small family owned neighborhood coffee shop. The espresso is fragrant and smooth. They make ham and cheese sandwiches with fresh baked Portuguese rolls and sao Jorge cheese from the Azores. This is a piece of the Azores in east side San Jose. The vibe brings you right to the island. Must get the ham and cheese sandwich and an espresso!!!

This lil espresso shop will transport you to an old world tradition where people met at corner coffee shop and socialized daily as part of their daily mental self-care routine. Try the linguisa sandwich Lee makes. Only five dollars and it is also very tasty and filling.
