Silva’s Brazilian Steakhouse — Restaurant in San Jose

As a Brazilian, I was looking forward to my meal but I found the meat to be very tough which is not typical of the picanha. The side dishes were tasty. For dessert, I tried the Romeo and Juliet which was well balanced and not very rich. The staff was friendly and there are a lot of options for dishes and sandwiches and other Brazilian street foods which make this a great stop. Next door there is a mini grocery store that sells a lot of Brazilian and Portuguese products. I left at the time when a musician was setting up but it's nice that they are beginning to provide entertainment as well. Lastly, there are several TVs in the restaurant inside and it's very dark. I think customers would be happier with less TVs and more natural lighting. The outside area is pretty but it wasn't set up for sitting. If you like meat and lots of it, this place is for you! Absolutely delicious and tons of variety. As Brad has said, the roasted pineapple is phenomenal! The server kept bringing skewers upon skewers of different meat, including shrimp and salmon.
